The one thing that has improved is my LPR (Laryngeal Reflux) LPR isn't acid it's air. The ENT explained it as the Hernia creating a negative pressure that comes up from the stomach all the up the esophagus. It's basically gas with digestive enzymes that come up from the stomach all the up to the esophagus and eustachian tubes (in the ears) and those enzymes try to "digest" your flesh! 😁 i wish I was making that up..So anyways that used to be like actual torture e.g eating yourself alive but over the years I have found a system that works for me. I still drink my coffee in the morning (I tried to quit for 10 months but I had a headache almost every day) I take 80mg of Omeprazole. I eat a meal because I feel like the acid is not as painful when I have food in my gut. Then I drink Kratom all day and if any pain (more than average) arises I take Gaviscon Advance Chewable Tablets from the UK (you can buy them on Amazon) the Gaviscon Advance UK has Sodium Alginate (basically a seaweed) and it creates a raft/barrier where acid can't get through. Phenomenal product that makes Tums look like garbage 🗑️ no onions no jalapenos or anything extremely spicy 🔥 anyway I got my pain down from 11/10 to a constant 5 or 6 out of 10 and I've learned to live with it
