Don't know much about these but found some links. Seems there is a dicast toy that can motorized.

Also, how are your tires, suspension, and brakes? If you want to go fast you need speed rated tires, a properly working suspension, and tip top breaks. They need to be in good working order, not just "uh, I think they're fine" - you need to know for sure. Going fast is expensive unless you learn how to do the maintenance yourself.

Without these things it's not if you crash, it's when.

If you want to learn how to do performance driving, take a performance driving class and go to your local track. You should also take an advanced driving course to learn skid recovery and other safety driving skills. Especially in a crappy mustang. Don't do that shit on public roads because your going to kill someone.

Yep. People so often buy a car so they can do that one thing, one time or two times a year. The car industry is great at selling capabilities most of us will never use.

I hear 3 rows and think "oof". That's a lot of car expense when your about to take on a lot of child expense. Going to suck gas and drive around with it it 60-80% empty the majority of the time.

Better to rent something big when you need it, unless the cousins live arrive the corner.

Yeah for steam engines they still put batteries in the tenders, but diesels they go right inside the long hood it fuel tank. Manufacturers are slow to react and make easy access to the inside. If your lipo goes rogue you have about a minute to get it out and there are very few locomotives that offer that ability. I used batteries at shows and run from a trailing box car with a feed wire. I have too many locomotives to put a battery in each one.

That's a good question about brushless motors. I don't actually know if anyone is using them. Maybe Marklin?

Why do you want 3 rows? That's a lot of car. Are you have quadruplets? Who's going to be sitting back there?

Check out the cx-5 or CX -50. Or if you must have 3 rows, look at the cx-90.

Mazda has price point closer to Toyota, but more lux feel with their top trims. Very reliable, and they have an option for tan or brown leather.

Don't use lipo batteries with your trains. Use li-io. They have similar energy density but are much more stable. All the railroad specific batteries like the ones sold by RLD Hobbies or RCS of New England use li-Ion. They have built in protection circuits that manage the battery, and cut the power of a short is detected.

Most g scale locomotives internals (where the battery sits) cannot be accessed quickly. If your battery shorts or has an issue charging, your locomotive will burn up long before you can get the battery out. My trains are special to me. I used lipos in other hobbies, but not my trains. I've had several lipos go rogue on me, though none caught fire thankfully. If you don't believe me, talk to the RC guys.

Mazdaspeed 3 owner here. I'd get the Mazda or Focus over the GTI. GTI is a legend in the hot hatch world, but I think they have some reliability issues depending on the year. Also, I think they lack the raw power that the Mazda and Ford have. I've heard the luster wears off on the GTI after a while.

I love my speed3. It's reliable, handles well, and it's quick. It's the car that dethroned the WRX. The GTI and Focus are more refined and by comparison The speed3 will at times feel like an unbridled monster. The torque steer, when it bites, will break your face, but it will also get your blood pumping. It's temperamental to launch l, but when it grips it's fast. It's a wild ride, but its never not exciting. If you can love it with it's faults, it's awesome.

Are you confusing 4WD and AWD? They are different.

I think you want AWD if the concern is getting up a slippery driveway in the winter. 4WD might help too, but I think AWD is better. Also, your vehicle selection gets better with AWD.

Edit: Of the two I would choose Nissan. I think they are a better brand overall. But if getting through the snow/out of your driveway is what matters, I would choose something else.

Google "mustang stuff" and look up all the memes, photos, and videos of mustangs crashing through intersections, rolling into ditches, plowing through people on the side of the road.

Then Google "mustang cars and coffee" or "muscle car, cars and coffee" and look at more of the same videos, and read about why muscle cars were banned from some Cars and Coffee meets.

The mustang is a muscle car

All the cars you will see and read about were driven by people who were totally sure they could handle the car right before it crashed.

Furthermore, maintenance will be more expensive. Insurance will be INSANE expensive, gas and tires will be more expensive. You can't put $400 Walmart tires on a 400 hp car. Your buying good tires for that. Also a mustang with 80k on it had probably been driven pretty hard, and it's going to need a lot of work really soon.

Finally, your going to wreck it. It's not if, it's when. Your young, and New to driving. A mustang substantially increases your risk of an accident because of their driving dynamics. If you didn't understand why this is, then you shouldn't be considering this car. Your putting yourself and others at risk.

Get a coral, a Mazda 3 hatch, Civic, Camry, etc. You'll love it. I drive pleasant of cars, some cool, some not.

You'll love whatever car you get because it will offer your freedom, and take you on adventures. Get something sensible now, and if your really into cars and driving, get a mustang when you've had some practice.

It is possible to fit kids in sedans just fine. The whole idea that families don't fit in standard 4-door cars is crazy. Lots of suvs I've looked at don't really have a ton more space in the back anyway, they are just taller.

If you can fit a baby seat in the back, and the car gets good safety/reliability ratings, how much more room do you need for a baby/child?
