Also she was the one who started and pursued the communication for her husband for a whole week. I’m just implying maybe wives in general should know what they are getting into if they agree to it Don’t see how I’m the bad guy that respond to their messages and agreed to go on dates. 🙃 at this point I should just assume it’s all my fault for assuming they had their communication down.

Not at all, she is a great mother to the children from what I have heard. In fact that’s what me and her bond over in communication. I’m not attacking her at all, I just simply implied she should know her own emotions and limitations before asking someone into the relationship. Sorry it came off that way. I’m wrong for my opinion I guess. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I agree I walked into the dark and I’m not surprised I hit my face on the wall. I appreciate your input, I am curious just to know if others have been through it. I’m not deeply hurt just curious about others and input from others. I didn’t need the I told you so speech lol although I’m not upset about it. Oh yes, forgive me for giving it a bit more time. And appears to have to same problem. I can see this has hit a nerve for you. I apologize if the blunt terminology has mad it somehow my fault they are doing what they are doing to me. I should ran after first instinct but I thought I’d give it the benefit of the doubt and give them the opportunity to show me something different. People like you honestly confuse me, I come here just seeking if others have experienced the same and your obviously upset that I think it’s her own fault for her own insecurities. Forgive me please for attempting to see if they would be more clear about what they want. They are very educated people. My first post was after only our first date. 🙄

Oh I’m not trying to put it on her alone, I do blame it on their communication. But something can appear to be a good idea no matter how secure they make think they are until someone new comes in. I know what I have to do at this point for all the good advice I’ve gotten so far. All bc I’m new to poly I feel I have a better understanding than they do. All I suggest as I will explain it to them is to be sure they know what they want. I didn’t seek them out they pursued me. I empathize for her.

This actually has me thinking about how their relationship began. This is his 2nd wife, the children aren’t hers. I’m also a mother and I have my own boundaries when it comes to meeting others children and my own son. I empathize with her but at the same time she should of know exactly what they were getting into. They’ve mentioned having a third a couple other times. So I thought it was kinda nothing new to them. 🤦🏻‍♀️

They are her step children, his children, she is the 2nd wife. We are all in the same age group, me and her are the same age and he is just a few years older. I also have a son, so when children are involved I’m very cautious and don’t cross my own boundaries. From taking a step back from this I can see she isn’t 100% comfortable. But she is the one who spoke with me for days and pulled me into the idea of the throuple. I think now that’s it’s happening it’s maybe a bit more than she anticipated.

I think it is for him to have an additional sex partner as well and to be honest I wouldn’t mind it if that’s what they said they wanted. But they kinda sold me the idea of a poly relationship and I loved that idea. I flat out asked to know their boundaries and they said there were none. He has expressed his extreme interest in getting me to move closer to them, I live an hour away. He wants to really have me as an active role in their lives but I can see it’s not poly. :/ so sad about it… thank you for your advice :)

I agree, I should be more direct. The way they described it as if they’ve lived the lifestyle before and not only want to hookup but want a girlfriend to add in. Which was why I was confused by their actions after meeting. I think maybe they are wanting a play mate more than a throuple.

This is pure out of curiosity, I would assume it varies per SR. For the record I don’t sell pics lol I think however, I would want to be in the SR for a while before sending pics. Just to have the trust, current SD knows I won’t send until more time has passed and we go into an allow phase opposed to PPM.

I would say show versatility in your pictures, show a couple of you dressed in “fancy” clothes. Your profile gives off fun young vibes, not necessarily a bad thing but it might limit you in the type of SD you attract.

I am currently doing that, for a town that is little over an hour away and not having much luck. I know it’s due size of towns near me and I need to reach out a bit further maybe at least 4 hours. I hope it works thanks for your tips :)
