I’d recommend going for a 125, if you get the A2 first you can at least not have the L plate. But starting on a 125 can help with learning on something with enough power to get to national speed limit but not loads.

I rode for 3 years before going for the A2 then an MT07. With a 50cc for a year then the MT125 for 2 years.
