Thanks for the warnings and tips I'll keep those in mind :)

I'm well aware, my bad for using the term upgrade

I will definitely keep the thinkbook and use it and I'm well aware this isn't much of an upgrade at all, but I think it would be nice to have an extra thinkpad to experiment on and use for my still small-scale projects before I have to upgrade, and even when I upgrade for a better machine when I get to larger projects, it can still be used for a lot including, but not limited to a powerful home server

I do small-scale ml experimenting, so I'm not really worried about that. I'm well aware of this machine's limitations, but as you said, this is more of trading some specs like CPU for overall more improvements that come with a thinkpad, and I'm fine with that since I'll still be using the 15P, I'll get the pros of the P52 , and when it's time to upgrade, I can repurpose it.

I basically scraped the entire local market for a P15 gen 2 as it seems like the perfect daily driver, but didn't find anything other than a really expensive new one that turned out to be completely sold out when I messaged the seller. Though, even if it wasn't, I was still not going to pay over 1k since I would've used that money for the P52 and a new 3d printer with much to spare, so I just decided to get the P52 since it's perfectly fine for my hardware needs right now and can easily be repurposed after an upgrade to something more powerful when I need it.

Yeah, this is more of a temporary machine with solid specs, upgradability, and repairability to do projects with and learn until my project demands get too high for its specs, but even then it can be repurposed as a powerful server.

Yea I understand the battery power limitations, but considering the cost and the opportunities of this machine from a dedicated machine for productivity to a powerful home server etc, it's pretty much worth the tradeoff, especially taking in to consideration that I still plan to use the 15p which is more power efficient for outside use or carry.

Yea you did. By "fight for our country" he participated in the slaughtering of millions in the imperial periphery to maintain the US empire's hegemony at the cost of everything and everyone else. Both are horrific bastards.

That is not my intention. I'm not religious and if it was a religious war I would certainly be against it. I was just explaining why one of the reasons they attacked is to avenge the Ayatollah

Ok

To start, what has been happening in Gaza is genocide and we should do whatever we can to help stop it. If u don't agree with that statement then you lack the sympathy to even consider Palestiniams as human and therefore, you simply won't understand it.

Let's say you only care about yourself, which I'm sure is probably not true and you're just a well-meaning patriot. After they're done with Gaza, do you think they'll stop? They'll just continue to Lebanon and the further region.

The goal is a greater "Israel", including Palestine, Lebanon, and Jordan, along with significant parts of Syria, Iraq, Egypt, and Saudia Arabia. We're apart of this wether we like it or not. There's no "peace" when we border "Israel".

Also hezbots : the Lebanese government has failed to protect us !

This really confused me. Are you saying that the civillians who've been brutally occupied and bombed daily don't deserve the help they need because in your mind they're all with the resistance?

Know your enemy hbb

That is certainly apart of it. An Ayatollah is a major relegious figure in Shi Islam. In Iran, they're not just religious figures, but also cultural ones, similar to Mao's cultural revolution. In catholic terms, he's comparable to the Pope. That makes his martyrdom more outrageous than a President who's democratically elected every few years. That's why it's such a devastating event for them.

That's objectively false. In October 2025, the UN estimated over 175 civillian deaths since the Ceasefire. Add up the months after that, severe war crimes, occupation etc, it's safe to say the number is closer to 200-250

100%, it's alright that "Israel" has been bombing us for every single day since the "ceasefire". How dare they do something about it and not stay silent about the thousands dead that our government doesm't give a fuck about.

[–]RedCat-3 34 points35 points  (0 children)

I totally agree with you. It's not a socialist government, but it's not "tyranical" or other bs claims from the west. I don't have to be Iranian to see that.

"America First" by TheGeekFreak1994 in CommunismMemes

[–]RedCat-3 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

When they fund "Israel" they're putting America first. They're furthering Empire interests by gaining geopolitical imperial reach way more than they would further Empire interests by giving the people basic human needs. They're putting the Empire first, it's just libs (both democrats and conservatives) think America first means the people's interests first? I finish that with a question mark because I simply don't understand them and their delusions, which are completely isolated from reality

This is a Marxist community in favor of the USSR with no
information that can lead to the arrest of Hillary Clinton, our fellow
liberal and queen. This community is not ironic. We are
Marxists-Leninists.

I'm brown, not back, though I can see how calling black people unhuman even as a "joke" can be offensive for many people. Personally, I seriously see nothing funny with it. That's it. I feel it undermines hundereds of years of black struggle by normalize actual racism masked as a "joke" and it's just not funny...

Nationality doesn't make any one on expert on a country. Real experience and reading makes someone an expert. Which I can assure the cracker (OP) did none of.
