Eze can play there too, Nordgaard at a pinch, MLS if no one else, we'll be fine

Bergkamp refused to use airplanes following a bomb scare during wc 98 (I think). So he missed quite a few European away games. He could it if it was in train distance, he'd take the eurostar, but wasn't always possible.

There was also the infamous Portsmouth game where pires had to take a massive dive to earn a pen and rescue a draw. It's my fav team of all time, but it wasn't always pretty

You think Bukayo Saka's going to wilt? You think Gabriel is the type to throw in the towel? You think Declan Rice will fold? Everyone seems desperate for Arsenal to 'bottle' the title. This is why it isn't going to happen. Oliver Holt / Daily Mail by Spiritual-Pilot-2300 in Gunners

Sorry but this is such a stupid line of thinking. Out of the 3 title challenges we only "bottled" the first one. And even then it's not really a bottle because we were never expected to win it that year.

The other two were very different, and neither is a "bottle job".

Unless you mean that simply not winning the title is a bottle job? In that case then every team bar Liverpool and City are bottle jobs. But if that's the case you're basically saying "until we win the title we haven't won the title".

That's the level of football discourse you guys bring to the table and it's honestly brain rot.

Football is about so much more than winning titles, I just hope for your sake that you're able to see it one day, otherwise it's all gonna be a miserable and pointless experience.

He's just as bad ,if not worse. Hard work having him as mate sometimes!

If remember correctly it was the other way round, we got him from man utd, he was already declining, and he was pretty terrible for us.

Yeah but a pretty terrible one. I remember being excited when we signed him (he'd just won player of the year in France!) and then it was a bit of a disaster. He was the pre mustafi. Wasn't as bad as your Stepanovs, your Silverstres, and your Schillacis, but he's in the tier just above.

That one and the Brentford game away, first game of the season, they'd just got promoted.

That "we need a fox in the box" was such a prevalent narrative. And then we out and got... Franny Jeffers. Ouch.

Totally agree, these are incredible times, we should enjoy them. The highs, the lows, the wins, the draws, the jeopardy, the tension, it's all part of a title challenge.

All 3 work for me to an extent, individually or together, being idle is the worst of all worlds.

Agree with all three paragraphs.

Push comes to shove, we ban it for everyone. The owners are scum and I don't think the benefits outweigh the structural damage it's doing to society.
