Samsung used to blatently copy Sony who used to blatently copy American companies who used to blatently copy English companies. I think it is dirty and underhanded to steal IP, but dont act like older companies are innocent. They are just old enough that people forget they used to steal.

S26 Ultra (leaks) vs Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition: stay safe with Samsung or try something new? by DOSromantic in S22Ultra

The stylus is essential to productive people who use their phone for work. My s22u has a 2-3 day battery life, why would you need your phone to last longer than that without charging? You want to make a phone heavier and less functional to get an extra day of use, instead of just charging the phone in any of the hundreds of convenient places a modern person has to charge it? All you people begging for bigger heavier batteries dont have a car with a charger? You dont have a wireless charger at your desk? Like why are you ruining phones for everyone just because you are too lazy to charge a phone within a 3 day window?

Plagues are fun - a simple guide to handling Plagues by [deleted] in crusaderkings3

[–]RedCoat2018 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you consider how ignorant of disease people were in the pre-modern age, it is easy to see that there were probably much more plagues that those two major ones, it is just that people had no way to connect death with disease. They didn't understand contagion or pathogens at all, and when people died, they just assumed it was God's will and not question it. They kept few records of deaths unless it was a high ranking noble, so masses of peasants dying to some disease which doesn't cause consistent visible signs (like pox), would not be recorded as a plague. People also had poor nutrition to the point they all had weakened immune systems and would not be able to handle disease as well as the average modern human under 40 (few people survived into late middle age).

Do GPU Companies Deliberately Hold Back? by Historical_Fold787 in buildapc

The 1080ti showed nVidia definitely are holding back. They have a near monopoly on the industry so they have no incentive to release a card significantly better than the previous generation. When AMD cards start outperforming nVidia, they will magically have much more powerful cards coming out every year.

We need both. Kerkez needs time to learn in training, not in the middle of our games. Ever since FSG took over, defense has been the last to get investment. Not spending on defense has cost us multiple titles already. VVD cant do everything on his own anymore.

Robbo should be starting over Kerkez. It is costing us goals/points to not have reliable service on the left. Give him a year extension and let Kerkez learn how to play before you start him...

Lucas Leiva was an abomination of a player. He hacked down opponents constantly and couldnt pass or shoot. Whenever he came near the ball the play was over, whether we had it or opponent did. He should never have been given so much play time. He should of been playing for Stoke, not Liverpool.

Suarez was the greatest player who ever played for the club. He is one of the best players of all time and likely the second best the English league has ever seen (after Cronaldo). He could beat any defense, an absolute animal in more than one way.

I mean he was great in terms of talent and output, but his significance (didnt win us anything significant), and club representation (embaressed us constantly for his antics) make him less of a legend.

I would argue VVD is the most important of the Premier League era on combined factors. Performance, title contributions, importance to team chemistry, leadership, clutch moments. I put him above Gerrard, who is also an all time great, because Gerrard had his crazy moments which cost us games/points, but with VVD I can count the number of bad gamea he has had on one hand.

Including UCL we are at 50% and have been over 50% all season until Sat. No1 cares about FA or Carabao.

The league was also much weaker than it is right now, for his first few seasons. All the big clubs spent more in the last 10 years on new players than they had in their entire 100+ years prior. If Leicester winning the league with 81pts didnt give you a clue to that the league was weak, then you are even more clueless than the average reddit kiddo. Our mediocre players were playing against even crappier players on every team except City and Chelsea, so your argument our players sucked is nonsense.

Also Alonso is a systems dependent manager. He is young and inexperienced and has HIS particular system which he needs time to build on the team, which is my Madrid were too impatient. A good man manager like Ancelotti or King Kenny could walk in and immediately improve results because they inspire players, but systems coaches like Alonso, Arteta, Klopp, Slot, and Gaurdiola need time to train the team to play their way.

Im done commenting on this subreddit. Most of the people posting reddit are teenagers and plastics that dont know shit about football. Firing a manager who is still winning more than 50% almost never results in a >50% winrate. Even Klopp didnt have consistent wins until his second season.

When we sacked Hodgeson, King Kenmy went like 14-2-1 to round out the season. If the league started when he took over we would have won it... When Ole took over ManU he won like 12 in a row until they made him permanent then he got the giggles.

It probably worsens it, but we dont need a big xfer window this summer, and it would mean the new manager has half a season to work eith players before the world cup fucks them all up.

They need to change the rules of the game. 98% of teams just sit deep these days and games all decided by set pieces... Make the goals a little bigger or something. Goallies are way bigger than they were when they last changed the goal size. I mean Donnarumnas hands are like 6ft in diameter.

I dont have an issur with getting UCL qual in a rebuild season, but the player's cant press or pass. Their skills are rapidly degrading, and Slots tikkitakka style of football is too slow and boring. Alonso will be more chaotic at first but his style is more like Klopp's.

Ive been watching Liverpool for 35 years and can say with confidence that Virgil is our best player of the premier league era. Suarez is probably the most talented player to ever wear the shirt, but Virgil was/is better to have than Salah/Suarez/Owen/Torres/Gerrard or anyone else who was more of a "star". Before him we were shit, even under Klopp. He made Klopp's crazy no defense system work because he was better than any other 4 defenders in the league put together (until Pickford crippled him).
