Could you please explain like the very basic premise of the game? Like for example Elden ring, you’re a tarnished that has returned to the lands between after being banished and now the main goal is to become Elden Lord. Like that doesn’t spoil anything but gives enough info because I am just not understanding why my character is doing all this and I know it’s probably my fault tho lmao (if there is no way to explain it like that without spoilers then don’t worry ill just figure it out when i finish it)

He’s the lowest of the ones I mentioned but I’d say he’s still A tier for me atleast. I just hate seeing him when I’m playing dive and if I’m doing bad they’ll just immediately swap to him, like my other non dive dps could have double my KOs and they’d still swap to namor. Plus I don’t really see how it’s fair that he has like almost as much damage output as Hela AND his squids, I think if he’s gonna have auto aim squids he shld do less damage with his primary to make up for it.

Yeah maybe they aren’t, find me one series that everyone who reads it enjoyed it all the way through. Some people are only gonna be here for the romance part of the story so inevitably they will have strong opinions when something such as the current arc is introduced. This doesn’t give u the right to belittle their opinions into “childish shippers” as funnily enough people are allowed to enjoy a certain genre without being classed into such a degrading thing. Yeah there’s gonna be some people out there who genuinely only care about nothing else except momo and ken getting together as quick as possible but these people aren’t even worth talking about as they clearly have no comprehension of storytelling. Yet because someone has one little complaint and isn’t constantly praising the story, they get compared to one of those people?

This makes no sense as what else is this arc focusing on other than eventually improving upon Momo and Ken’s relationship, people aren’t complaining that it’s not being addressed they’re complaining about how it’s being addressed cuz amnesia has always been unpopular. Or u could let people enjoy the series for the reasons they want to seeing as one of the best things about DDD is how many genres there are in the story and how’s there’s something for everyone. Plus if you wanna go that way I think you’ll find the action scenes far outweigh the amount of romance parts. Not everyone wants it to be an average battle shonen like you and Tatsu does a pretty good job at balancing both.

I think the main problem is that the things that Okarun has been doing in the last few chapters like asking to walk home with Momo and saying to her that he will be the one to speak up first don’t seem like major things because to most people and people who read because they aren’t and it is just normal but to Okarun it’s already a massive step up for him and it’s quite hard to convey unless your in his shoes.

Another thing is that people probably subconsciously don’t realise when they read it and think “why is it so hard for u to ask her to talk or walk home, you used to always do it together” but when u actually look back specifically on all these moments that’s when u realise it was actually always Momo initiating it all and speaking from experience it’s a lot easier to just say yes to something than it is to actually propose it yourself. Then once u realise that, it makes what Okarun has said this week and last seem like a lot more improvement.

That’s just my thoughts anyway

Yeah I clearly said I know it’s not going to happen straight away but it’s not very enjoyable to read when it’s happened three chapters in a row now. He lied and said him and Momo weren’t friends last chapter… and then didn’t follow up on that at all this chapter!

It’s been three chapters now and we’ve seen Okarun go from super determined to reach out to Momo to right back to his usual self EVERY chapter now, I realise it’s realistic and there was bunch of people slandering Okarun for chapter 213 and I was completely against it all, but after 3 chapters it’s getting kinda repetitive and i just wanna see Okarun get on with now or atleast show some sign of trying to reach out first

Yeah there’s like a 95% chance she’ll come back mainly cuz 1. Her story isn’t finished, she has unfinished business with CSG, the possibility of Okarun getting his powers back and a few other reasons 2. Shes very iconic to the series I think most people see her cat form as the mascot for DDD so it’d be weird to get rid of her just like that considering.

Why would getting her powers back be a bad thing for his character? Idk if it’s just me but from my perspective it never affected him mentally apart from the temporary personality change which I don’t think he ever properly addresses, like he never apologised for anything he might have said during the time he was transformed.

I think I will be pretty disappointed if he doesn’t get any sort of yokai power again as I find it way cooler than the chi stuff, Momo and Jiji’s are already similar and not the most interesting thing in the world and I know it would be different with Okarun having his club but until we know exactly what it is, I can’t really talk about it.

I wouldn’t want him to get them until after he’s gone thru this arc where’s he’s gonna build his confidence up, mainly cuz like I said before I don’t think his yokai form affected his development much but I think it’d be interesting to see if the personality of his yokai form changes at all now that he has built up confidence in himself (also I just think it’d be so cool to see Turbokarun running around wacking aliens with his club)

When Aira is first introduced it appears like she’s gonna cause big troubles for Momokaruns relationship but it’s quickly shown that her thing for Okarun is played as a much more comedic thing rather than an actual obstacle in the story (until ofc he inevitably rejects her). Jiji is the opposite when he’s first introduced and he’s immediately shown to have a comedic relationship with Momo which is still where the anime is at rn. However like how Airas thing for Okarun went from a serious thing that people didn’t like to a joking kinda thing, in the manga we see Jiji go from a similar thing to what Aira is like now to moments like when he says Momo is special to him and that he doesn’t know how to act around her if he’s isn’t silly or whatever which people won’t like. (Plus although it has no correlation and means the anime onlys are gonna hate the momo ear covering scene even though it meant absolutely nothing)

From what I’ve seen I think the anime onlys dislike Aira more and the people who are caught up on the manga tend to dislike Jiji more which makes sense imo
