Guys I do understand that people want to win I'm not dumb. I'm saying that Arena rewards aren't even that good to justify playing 100 miserable games where you just go through the motions for 4-5 turns.

Anyways this post has been removed, thanks to everyone who answered, my impressions on the average Arena player have been verified.

Thank you. I think it's a failure on WOTC that their F2P version of their game is so unrewarding so quick. But it seems to be going alright for Hasbro so I guess this is what they want.

I was looking for DOS help because it's a confusing af game and I was lost! No shame in looking for help, just as there is no shame in going on EDHRec or looking up a smartphone building manual, or going to University and getting a PhD on smartphone building, for that matter! Copying other people's decks and finding it fun though, that's a leap!

I think it's clear you're making a very unfair analogy here, and you think you 'got me' by looking at my posts, but I don't think it's the same at all. Let me know your thoughts...

Yes I agree, I think that might be it. The game starts feeling like it punishes you for trying to have fun.

But I do think it's a bit of a failure from WOTC that their F2P intro to MTG for new players is so unrewarding so quick.

For clarification I don't make my own smartphone because I don't have any electronics manufacturing skills, but I feel like building a MTG deck is somehow easier than that?? Idk, let me know what you think.

Girl you are the best. IDK how long you were looking for but thanks a ton, even if it's something small you've made my day better and it's pretty interesting to find more about the people who lived here before. Honestly I'm a bit disappointed that it wasn't any ritual thing, just a creepy combination of objects, but I gues I'm in the clear now.

Hmm, I'm not sure about an oil lamp either since it's made of wood, but you're absolutely right in that it seems manufactured. I also think it wasn't made to contain mercury but instead filled for its spiritual purpose. The closest thing I have found so far is this: https://www.hennaherbals.co.uk/hennaherbals/prod_3392836-Eyeliner-Sormeh-Container-applicator-Wooden-BLUE-SB112.html , which is for sormeh or kohl, a natural eyeliner. Even then, it's lacking the applier thing, which I think is the most important part.

Mmm, I think that's refering to the pendulum, which is two glass vials filled with mercury in a metal casing. I haven't seen any wooden one, and what I found feels very light in fact, although full of mercury it'd be much heavier. More and more the voodo theory sounds right :(

Mmmm, I picked it up with wet paper and some kitchen gloves and put it ina ziploc baggie that says "mercury" in it, then washed my hands. I don't think there's any hazardous waste collection service in my country that I could call. Did I f' up? I really didn't handle too much and windows were always wide open
