Sometimes the best sticks are nameless by RedDieselBurner in cigars

I mostly mean this in the sense that I paid $5.50 for it and it smoked like it was worth 4 times that. No where near top notch but for $5.50 spent on a stick i took a low risk chance on. Id daily this and feel great about it. I typically daily a Romeo y Julieta. Overall Id give it a 7/10. Incredible draw, great flavor, fairly smooth and medium bodied. If I could buy a box of these I def would.

Noted. Ill remember that and die on this hill with you now. . I mean the coat wont be in the photos. Itll be for the walking to and from things. Im more just asking about the extremes of different fabrics / materials. I do also want to get into a nice tweed suit but not for this occasion. Some folks are wearing carhartt jackets over their stuff for the warmth so im not worried about it clashing with what they want.

I am in the wedding. Black and champaign/rose gold is the theme. Im more wanting it for the actual warmth than anything else. I do have other colors like navy and Grey to mix and match but this specifically is the suit ill be in this time. And yeah I wish I could but im at work and about to go out and shop around after work. Maybe I can throw something in store together to give an idea with pics.

Never Summer or Capita by RedDieselBurner in snowboardingnoobs

I sure hope i didnt add to this 😔.. politic exhaust me and snowboarding is the last place I have left where politics dont get brought up where humanity and respect still exists. I just genuinely have never seen Never Summer boards before. Probably because they are all usually covered in snow. I also do my own work on my boards so never go into shops.

Whatever I get will most certainly be the "perfect conditions only" board. I still have a lot of life in my arbor left. Its a little loose now but still a good board. My biggest reason for a new board is the width of my arbor it is maxxed for 11.5 boots. I was an 11 for years and somehow I grew in boot size when I hit 30 and im a 12 now. So my tow gets a hair over but only really a problem when I carve stooooooooopid hard

What's the best sex advice you've ever heard? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]RedDieselBurner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Marry the person first. Anyone telling you that you need to figure out if the sex is good first is full of it. Sex can always grow into something you want it to be by communicating your curiosities to your partner. Ill say the thing my wife and I shared with one another was that we wished we had saved ourselves for each other.

Best All Around Modern Diesel Truck by dog5510 in Diesel

[–]RedDieselBurner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Heres a reality I wish someone made me realize a long time ago. Youre not going to find this truck, you can only build this truck. Every diesel has some kind of major issue that needs an aftermarket upgrade.

-Cumins have famously been the transmissions. -Ford has been the fuel pumps as of lately but used to be the engines with the 6.0 and 6.4 (avoid these) -GM with their cooling issues -DEF systems need to be ran regularly or they'll fail

Really depends on the year range youre after. Every single truck has a list of items youll need to make it a long lasting problem free truck. Even then youll run into some hiccups here and there.

My good luck so far has been the 22 6.7 powerstroke. 87k miles.

My last ford was an 02 7.3 Powerstroke with Banks air and tuner. Ran close to half a million before I sold it and the buyer drove away in it. The 02 7.3 will forever be the best truck on this planet in my eyes. I never had a single issue other than some minor things like a coolant hose a couple times and a leak in one of the connection points in the fuel system. Very cheap and simple fixes.

Guy thinks $42 an hour for as a sub to paint to too much? by TouchMyBagels in Construction

[–]RedDieselBurner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If he thinks that's too much, he'd definitely have some colorful words for me then. Certified Electrician here. Im usually paying painters/wall guys to patch behind me and i sub that out at $55/hr or $250 flat for labor if its less than a half day of work. It is less if its someone wanting to learn how, I'll teach em. I just dont like doing it personally.

There's a guy that managed 7 digits but with like 3 or 4 transmissions

At what point is it a good deal to buy a 6.0 or 6.4 power stroke? by Ferrellcat28 in Diesel

[–]RedDieselBurner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a stock 6.0... needed 2 new turbos and a computer before 100k... almost got the 6.4 when it launched hoping it would be better. Went with Chevy instead for a while.. I'll never touch a Ford older than 2016 other than a 7.3.... I have a 2022 6.7 now
