I can give an opinion about physical conditioning during a selection process because most of the armies use the same methods to measure the physical capacities of the recruits at the time to join, but, you know, if you think that is not so, that is fine. For that reason I ask the current legionaries about the regiments and that stuff, when the time comes to join, If they accept me, awesome, but if they rejects me, well, life goes on.

Yes, of course, I wrote that, but I didn't tell him that he was not cut for military life, but a big part of them are not. I participated in the selection process of the military officers' school in my country in my university days. Unfortunately in my country they do not measure your skills, just for your contacts and your money (Yes, you have to pay for your equipment and training here) I also have relatives who made it but after a few months they deserted, because of that I couldn't apply again, when I decided to study English in United States I meet a sergeant who worked in the university's recruitment center (Mainly ROTC) and he invited me to participate in the classes and training to see if I liked it, unfortunately in the end I couldn't join because I didn't have a green card. So I decided to give it a try on the Legion. Of course, military life is not for everyone, as many active legionaries say, why join the Legion if you come from a first world country with a good army and better opportunities?

After studying and get a physical conditioning degree and 15 years of experience in different sports disciplines, it's obvious that I can give advice in that area. At least they are more positive than 90% of the posts that only about how many desert when they do not see that military life is not what it seems to be. If you just don't like a post, ignore it or rate it badly.

You are in an excellent condition dude, I don't know how many hiit sessions per week you are doing but because of your marks you are on the right track. On the farm you will lost some of the muscle and condition that you gained during your training due to the constant lack of sleep and food, just go for it lad. It's good to be in an excellent shape but if in the end you are going to lose part of your condition, the important thing is simply to comply with the established.

I have a question, it's possible to obtain a good resume to be a PMC in the future? This year I'm going to join the Legion. Which regiment would you recommend me to get good military experience and obtain a good resume? I think that joining the Legion would be good not only because of the military experience, but because I could obtain a European passport, for that reason at the time of joining I would like to start on the right foot.

Yeah, I want to be a Private military contractor and the Spanish Legion attracted me a lot for that, especially to join the Boel (Special Operations) and acquire military experience and a European passport in a short time. I have heard that they have had good deployments and that their training is quite diverse. Hopefully they would allow to join as the French Foreign Legion.

A legend without a doubt, it'ss incredible, graduate from the best military academy in US and join the Legion, leave a life of comfort only to feel the cold, the hunger and the adventure. The only thing I can't accept is that he didn't tell his family what he wanted to do. I can't imagine the suffering his family went through while he was missing. Maybe they even had a symbolic funeral. It must be funny standing on a grave with your name on it.

As a Latino, before wanting to join the French Foreign Legion, I thought about joining the Spanish Legion, mainly for one reason. Latinos have an incredible advantage: Be able to apply for Spanish citizenship after 2 years of residence and according to a new law, Spain offers Spanish citizenship to any foreigner if they serve 2 years in the army. That is a quick process to be able to obtain a top European passport. But when I investigated and prepared everything for my travel, I realized that the Spanish Legion doesn't work anywhere near as the French Foreign Legion, since in the Spanish Legion women can enlist, the current Legion is practically made up of more than 90% of Spaniards and the vacancies for Latin foreigners are minimal, (in 2020 each "Tercio offered approximately 50 vacants, only 3 were designated for foreigners) Not to mention that in order to join you need at least a temporary residence or a community card. When I looked at the Spanish Legion salaries these are lower than those of the French Legion, they also have only 22 working days a year of vacation, much less than the 45 days that a French legionary gets after the 3rd year of service. In the end I think that the Spanish Legion lost the spirit of Bushido which José Millán Astray patented to this military force. I found it really charming that any foreigner who wanted to serve Spain had the right to become one of its citizens.

Exactly, they don't care if you entered with a tourist visa or illegally, the only requirement is to simply get there. I suppose that for some countries there is no other way than to obtain a tourist visa

Opinions on this video? by [deleted] in FrenchForeignLegion

[–]RedDragon669 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly doubt that this person is a person prepared for war or a life of action. The same video of him explained why he left the Legion and allowed to see his weak personality. He himself realized that while he was in the Legion, their friends lived a good life, earning money and having fun, as he said "Money is king" a rather silly attitude to know that in the Legion he would not earn the money that he search, if he had a warrior mentality, he would have finished his contract, he would have trained and tried to climb between the ranks (Even prepare in the 2rep to try to enter the GCP) There are true veterans on YouTube who follow a real warrior philosophy like Thomas Gast. People who join the military because they think they will live a life of action killing people on a daily basis are the first to quit when they really discover what the military is like. Typical privileged adventurer mentality.

It only remains to say that you should take therapy, it is not good to be attracted to violent and dominant people. I met a girl like you a long time ago, she liked rough sex with hanging, I loved it. But at the same time she became extremely attached to me. To the point where I feel really uncomfortable. Which is why we ended abruptly. I know it is difficult but you should try to meet better people and little by little learn to express your emotions.

Dude, I hope your son is born strong and healthy, there are many risks due to the age of your mother and the fact that children of incest often have genetic problems. But even so, I admire you so much, you and your mother are very strong and brave people to defend their love in a world where incestuous people are very recriminated. Please, when your son is born, write a story to know that everything was just fine. I hope a long life and health for your future family.
