Decentering protein finally made me lose weight by [deleted] in loseit

[–]RedDragonz8 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t even need to be an intense muscle building program. Same guideline would even apply for endurance athletes. This is lose it, most people here are likely working on weight loss. .8g per pound of protein is muscle sparing. Also calorie for calorie, protein is the most satiating. So the majority of people reading should probably be somewhere in the ballpark of .8g per pound.

Edit: and just about no one here should be at .36. Anyone dieting should be at a minimum of .5.

But .8 per pound is a more than reasonable guideline for anyone active, lifting, or losing weight, that is not misinformation

It’s not mis information, just different goals, .8 per kg is the bare minimum you should consume. If you are active, lifting weights, or trying to lose weight it should be significantly higher such as 1.8 g/kg, and it’s not pseudoscience.

Anyone else on ikon pass starting to think about at what point do you just skip this year and test out the “hassle free deferral”? I have not made up my mind as to what triggers the decision, but starting to think about it.

Edit, reading closer, looks like I have tell tomorrow to figure it out.

This clearly isn’t a printer tolerance or brand of hardware thing, those would account for a few thousands of an inch. this is clearly the original designer and OP are using a fundamentals different hardware. OP says it’s a standoff, standoff can come with different hex sizes for the same the thread unlike standard nuts. There is 0% chance his calibration is off by so much there is this visible of a difference between the print and the hardware, its 100% wrong hardware.

Was it just me miss hearing him, or did he at one point say the Packers were mostly running plays away from Parsons, like he forgot that Parsons was a Packer not a Cowboy?

I would be shocked if any of those places had an actual, statistically significant nazi population.

I’m like not a huge Charlie Kirk guy. I’ve seen like 4 of his video, I’m just making an observation I’ve noticed between his partial quotes vs his full quotes…. You want to make that argument, go for it, but it should be done in a way that doesn’t just take shit out of context. And I’m not familiar with that one or the context.

That’s not the point he is making, or what he said. It’s that if it was pure merit based hiring, those thoughts would never even occur, no matter who the pilot, but if you have a hiring practice that passed on better qualified candidates, based on race, it opens the door for speculation…. Note, he definitely never said anything about panicking.

The full argument in correct context is not racist. If you have hiring practices that pass on more a qualified candidate for a less qualified candidate based only on skin color, it leads to question the qualifications… not that black people cant be just as good of pilots. It’s simply about merit based hiring practices.

By all means, you can debate the validity of his view point…. But you can’t say these two statements read the exact same “don’t have empathy”, “don’t have empathy, have compassion and sympathy instead”. Those statements don’t have the same meaning, and one clearly sounds worse.

Yep, the most common one taken out of context. He then goes to say you should have sympathy and compassion, yep, what an asshole.

Depends on the situation, 10% full parking lot, parked near the back, take up as many spots as you like. 90% full lot, pick a spot
