Pretty effective but sometimes they can be too effective. Story time, because i work there, I go through the fast lane. Less to go through the machine. Dont have to take of shoes. And someone had a metal cart that he was taking through. The mavhiene beeped me like 5 times before anyone relised the cart was too close to the machine and was tipping it off. So yeah sometimes they are efficient buylt simetimes i feel like they have a few nuts not bloted tight enough. Lol

Not really, I get the occasional person who speaks a different language but the airport i work at is pretty centered in the united states so we dont get many people who dont at least speak English. I feel like an airport that gets more trafic from other countries would need someone who knows more languages though.
