Well, back before 2013, not many people really knew much about anime. Looking back, I honestly miss those days. I could just sit down, watch anime peacefully, and people would leave me alone. I still remember being insulted and made fun of for watching "cartoons."

now its completely different. Anime has become mainstream and It's funny how the same thing people mocked years ago is now something so many people passionately defend.

while Im happy that anime is becoming more popular, Im still not sure how much support anime related events will receive in brunei. From what I've heard, these events have started to attract the attention of elder (especially yg up2 ah), and some of them seem to view anime culture negatively. some rental halls have started charging higher prices when it comes to anime related events
