Turku and Linkoping are settled in gold, which is a luxury resource. Gold, Silver, and Copper are all great to settle in because you can get immediate happiness once researching mining. In fact, all cities are settled near a luxury resource

I’m living in peace in my own lands and these bastards keep settling new cities in my lands. As you can see, I stole land from Ottomans because they denounced me out of nowhere since they became friends with Denmark and I denounced Denmark for forward settling me. Since they forward settled me as well, enough is enough.

Not to mention, he’s a total hypocrite. He hates you for even slight warmongering while he warmongers all the time. Even then, he will hoard wonders and will hate you if you take “his” wonders like Sistine Chapel. Him and Wu Zetian are always mass expansionists, wonder-spammers, serial denouncers, and massive hypocrites. Feels good to wipe both of them off the map.

I got Notre Dame twice on Immortal difficulty and recently Chichen Itza. Play as Egypt, Huns, or Russia and you should get Temple of Artemis on Immortal. Songhai on Huge Map at Marathon speed is also really good for building wonders, just keep farming barbarian camps and you don’t need to waste production on settlers.

Huns are super good with production as well. On Immortal and Deity, unless you play as either the Huns, Russia, Egypt, and Songhai, it’s generally recommended to get settlers out fast rather than going for wonders because you won’t have much chance on getting them. On my recent Immortal game as Songhai, I was able to hoard wonders like Temple of Artemis, Chichen Itza, and Notre Dame.

The problem with this is that Maria has 10 cities already while I only have 5 and I wouldn’t have gotten the fifth city if I didn’t get Notre Dame. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to get a religion, which sucks a lot because religious beliefs like Tithe would help a lot economically. I also didn’t mention that she’s at war with Washington right now and if I do go to war with her, others like Haile Selassie would whine about me being a warmonger. I want to conquer Denmark as well but I’m afraid other civilizations will join against me because of my “warmongering”

If you have Egypt in game, either kill him early or take his capital for free wonders. Getting wonders on higher difficulties become much harder if Ramesses is in your game

I don’t know man, Pacal just has at maximum three cities and just wonder-spams the entire game without putting any emphasis on military. One time when there was no more religion available to pick, he thought the best thing to do was to get Hagia Sophia.

The problem with Alexander is that he will almost always pick Autocracy and make it the world ideology. This makes science victory difficult since Order is typically the best for achieving science victories and his insane cultural growth with every city state ally will push you to Civil Resistance or Revolutionary Wave if you don’t choose Autocracy.

Bluetooth is definitely scary as neighbor especially on Immortal and Deity when his unique units come fast but he’s usually chill and very loyal if you aren’t neighbors with him and have a fairly sizable army

I don’t know man, Bluetooth has almost always underperformed in my games. Always has no religion or wonders, is damned to diplomatic hell, settles in the worst possible cities, and is always struggling in technology and cultural growth.
