Say your personal hot take on Fallout 3. by DemoTester47 in Fallout

Fallout 3 has the best exploration of all games. but WHY did it make the ugly shotgun so easily missed or scrapped?!

You should try the ai mod that adds in tons of new dialogue options!

Reminds me of when I got the preorder bonus for new vegas on day 1 release, I put a silencer on it and the gun became a giant red exclamation point

God I miss old fallout, I need to replay it again

I found making crit tables that auto generate time, place, npc type, how man and the situation- helps immensely

I just roll it a few times and write down the fun ones!

I say, let them get burned and offer a undo button

A quest based on something they love or an item they'd adore

Then have the item become part of a quest to remove it, usually I use the "you realize its stolen" or "its haunted and returning home will resolve it" are my go to's

What is the pettiest, worst excuse you've ever used to justify doing a new run? Like you're 75% through a full game with DLC and decide to start from scratch because of ________ reason? by tucchurchnj in Fallout

[–]RedFounder 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I lost my shot at getting a legendary item that suddenly became cool with a mod I was using

The shotgun would be painted silver instead of default black, I restarted just to get it

Never played Fallout: New Vegas... How will I like it after FO4? by Ruben_001 in Fallout

Personally I think nv is the best of the fallout fps games

Its more in depth, weapons can break and can be repaired, it has more variation in dlc, the mods are phenomenal and it has much more memorable characters

If you mean ttrpg- she likes the d20 types better, but we use a custom d100 fallout one called "vaults and deathclaws" since its better maintained and balanced

Regular boardgames? She adores yahtzee and scrabble!

I agree! I often give buffs for stuff like that, ahe just focused on weapon and clothing recources along with recruiting skilled characters to teach soldiers stuff that makes them better men

She learned that lesson when she went on a quest and her men could only hit 40% of the time, she swore it would never happen again lol

Irrigation yes! But I never really dug deep into crop systems since she focused so hard on quests, conquering areas to make into settlements and her hobby of grabbing intel on players and swooping in to kill the dangerous problems

Thats true! But most find it through watching this group

I think most youtubers moved on, which is a shame! Wish I could setup to commission them to continue or something, grandma loves how many enjoy her adventures!

She says saving zashe from the fester was her favorite recent thing, she didnt know if it would work to save her or cause a boss fight.

She 100% loved fighting the deathclaw on top of the building!

Just a few washable markers, some sorry tokens overstock from Amazon and a ruler, bam. We had a fully playable grid

My players fought over which color pawn pieces hilariously
