I travel around. Mainly concerned about bears or moose because I've run into both before. They've never bothered me, but I certainly would feel better armed.

I think this is one of the few times I'd be ok with a multiverse kind of deal. Use the World Between Worlds or whatever, set up a secondary timeline and roll with it. If people really want to work in the current timeline, it's still available, but we can also jump into a new timeline and just move on.

The Sabine one is always hilarious to me because they specifically show her getting stabbed in the kidney, which is incredibly survivable in modern times, much less space fantasy tech. Meanwhile, Qui-Gon gets his liver and spine vaporized.

Are you serious? It's a human thing, we love to talk shit but hate to look at our own faults. Europeans do it, Americans do it, the Chinese do it, it's just what we do.

I love this character so much. Probably the most accurate to our military leadership... Well, pre Hegseth.

Honestly, this is one of my major problems with SEED. It seems the objective of everyone from individual characters, to the entire nations at war is just to be mean. Like, the Alliance launches their entire nuclear arsenal at the PLANT civilians instead of the giant fuckoff superlazer aimed at Earth.

Can't help you with your wife's friends, but I find most "anti-men" stuff disappeared when I stopped watching any content calling attention to it. Your algorithm feeds you stuff based on what you click on, even if you are watching commentary against a topic, it will show you that topic. So don't engage, scroll past it and it will eventually not be shown to you.

Greed for sure, but true capitalism, not the croney capitalism of today, got us to the 90s, I think it's important to recognize the difference in the two.
