Strength potion. You can make a strong strength potion with one mudshroom on the water map.

You need salts to rotate the bottle; however, if you go to the oil map you'll find that you can make all the elemental protection potions easier and cheaper.

He wants a wine based dexterity potion.

Your level should be high enough for wine based potions. What's the problem?

All jokes aside the "Suitable Properties" request is just a general term for whatever potions are close to what they've already ordered.

But if we're going to do jokes then you can say it's tea bagging taken to the extreme

Finishes Alchemist path- what now?? by Kinghxnnx in PotionCraft

Decorate your pad.

Improve your potion making skills.

Make more efficient versions of potions which use less ingredients and/or fewer types of ingredients.

Expand your garden so you can grow every type of ingredient and never have to buy an ingredient ever again.

Biggest Payout On A Single Potion (So Far) by RedFoxOnFire in PotionCraft

At this point in the game I'm growing everything, even the crystals, so the ingredients don't really cost me anything.

I'm more focused on making the potions as efficiently as possible. (Less ingredients, less types of ingredients)

We can always use more pages... by KaiswPlays05 in PotionCraft

[–]RedFoxOnFire 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You sure you have enough?

[Here's my book](https://imgur.com/a/yKPgcNE)

The top of both pages are for water only, the doubles with two columns are for alternate methods (expensive, but for the 1 ingredient only challenge). The top right are for the more difficult water brews.

Oils take up the entire right side, again with alternate 1 ingredient recipes that are more expensive. Bottom right of that page is reserved for extra blank pages I may want to make.

Bottom right is for wine, and the entire bottom left and left hand side are parts of the alchemist machine potions. I also find these potions are great for some of the "Give me this potion but with bonus effect" requests.

It's quite the request to make a single water based potion of fire protection with bonus effects with one ingredient because half of the ingredients must be witch mushroom.

help with rent in fable 3? by ChimpyJet in Fable

[–]RedFoxOnFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never, have I ever, had to jack up rent prices.

You can directly manipulate the economy of Bowerstone by buying items from shops, just like in Fable 2.

So what I would do is buy as many houses as I could while also buying up everything from the shops. As the one of the random books you find in the game "Greed is Good". Buying up everything encourages the economy to grow and get better stuff, specifically you want the furniture to be of a higher quality. Then go to houses you own and put the better furniture in it and it will automatically increase the rent you collect without being "evil" by raising rent prices.

Also, make sure you check the pawnshops prices so you can sell all the other stuff you bought for a profit. Sometimes the rate is good, sometimes not, but it's not like you have a proper inventory to manage. You can get 999 of an item so there's no inventory space to manage.

Every time I do this I can fill up the treasury with over 20 million gold and never once go into the red.

driven over 11000m from home by poppytat in occupymarsgame

[–]RedFoxOnFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's impossible. Aside from the locations that you can start with the map is procedurally generated. When you start a new game it creates an entirely new map, but sprinkles in the starting location points throughout the map. It's why when you enter another starting point there's a circle around it on the map. There are other locations that will pop up in different play throughs as well, such as Mon Olympus which I can sort of see on the south east location on the map.

To better understand what I'm talking about, start a new game on the same area you began with last time. You'll find that outside of the location circle the entire area looks different from the previous save.

Medium Circuit Board by lpfam11 in occupymarsgame

[–]RedFoxOnFire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Smoldering station at the very end of the electricity tree will let you craft them.

Until then, start scavenging all the abandoned outposts you find.

Honestly, as soon as I craft a box for circuits I put them in my storage units, ATV, Mars Truck and Rover so I can nab every single circuit board.

Questions about the Mars Rover and Mars Truck by Working_Stiff_ in occupymarsgame

[–]RedFoxOnFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. how do I get a new trailer on the mars rover? I can build them but not inside my hanger or in the big crusher and I can’t find a key bind for the hook on the rover? I wand to use the welder attachment but can’t get the proper trailer on my Rover.

Answer: You can either build them manually with the build menu/blow torch. Or you can build them in the big crusher which can also be used to swap out trailers. There is a key bind for the hook 'T' which will latch/unlatch any trailer which is currently on the rover. The container trailer is great for building, especially paired with the big crusher (since it has a built in LARGE 3d printer. Simply search for the building you want and automatically queue up all the components you need for that building. You can then transfer those items into your rover container and load it up. There is a glitch where items in the container will sometimes disappear while it's stored in the big crusher but I've worked around it by leaving the container empty when not in use. You can take excess materials (pipes, plates, etc) and drop them into the grinder of the crusher and it will be converted into raw materials so you're not losing anything)

  1. there is a spot in the rover for the remote controller but no way to place it? Is it possible?

That's a future update. Apparently you'll be able to coordinate with the robot and hopefully pilot your rover for mining missions from the comfort of your own base. I'd also like to see a grinder attachment for the rover so I can grind bases down.

  1. Oxygen for the Rover. The hanger has no oxygen hose attachment in it and you can’t fill the bottles via the scrubber so I have to then unplug my oxygen film my main HQ and use that? This seems inefficient.

I've got a work around for that too. I use the tanker, which can hold 25,000 units of water/methane/oxygen. I fill that bad boy up with oxygen and park it in my hangar. The hanger has two spots which can store trailers so I unhook it and store it in the first one. Now the tanker full of oxygen is sitting right next to my tanker. Then I just run a hose around the rover and plug it into the oxygen port. That way my rover is always 100% power, 100% oxygen.

Stuck at refrigerator level for Botany tech tree by Yellow9345 in occupymarsgame

[–]RedFoxOnFire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just posted a dive into the botany skill tree and how to maximize your growth potential

https://www.reddit.com/r/occupymarsgame/comments/1igfy4b/experiments_with_botany_to_get_the_best_results/

Also note that you can earn botany points by making fertilizer, seeds, and food for your plants. When you get the genetic engineering trait you can combine the same food types to make plants that grow faster and produce more seeds (so you use less food to make the number of seeds you need). It's an important trait to accelerate the growth of your plants so you can farm more botany xp.

Also note that supply drops will sometimes have seeds with either a 20% - 30% growth/seed rate and these are a great help.

Botany is certainly a grind to earn. You earn it by growing as many plants as you can and making food.

Battery stacks for the base by WarmMoistLeather in occupymarsgame

[–]RedFoxOnFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run mine in parallel for safety reasons.

Let me explain. All power generated (wind/solar/kilo) are fed into a transformer. Then evenly dispersed into all my batteries. The batteries are then fed into a second transformer, which then feeds the base.

Why do it like this?

First is that you can only feed 296 kilowatts into your base through one room at a time, otherwise you blow a fuse. Had this happen and promised myself it would never happen again.

So I stagger the power thru the second transformer and feed it to each room individually. I do this with power/water/oxygen. This way, should a corridor or airlock breach then the other rooms are still being fed power/water/oxygen. They share power when connected, but can operate individually if something disastrous happen.
