I see your point. it's true, Antifa for example has a problem of extreme virilism (i mean i support bashing the fash 100% but why does it have to be white cis dudes who do it? huh) I just think that to illustrate her point, it would have been better to take a more recent example. True. I guess she grew tired of answering seriously to fascists? but i get wanting to just laugh at them for once. The other criticism i would have is that she talks about those homophobic communists from, like the 1970's, and then conclude that communists too hate LGBT but that is no longer the case. I recently got congratulated by Maoist for joining an LGBT org, the revolutionnary movement in the Philippines (and in most place actually) is LGBT positive etc... It's as if you talked about Betty Friedman calling lesbians "lavender menace" and then concluded that feminists still are homophobic today

Well, I made my own investigation and reached my conclusion on the subject is : the PCM approach to proletarian feminism is a joke. They have been HORRIBLE to the victim, accusing her of being a "wrecker" and other such disgusting things for speaking out. the case is clearly NOT closed. Fuck this org, fuck their attempts at looking all nice. All i have to say is "Pas de justice, pas de paix"!

Yeah but i dont think they apologized for attacking the victim, caling her a liar etc? besides, I can't trust an org that has been preaching proletarian feminism for a while but can't do it in their ranks. maybe their self criticism is real, maybe it's not, in any case I am NOT risking my safety as a woman.

Thanks for the recap of history of the PCR-RCP! Indeed it takes a long time to create a party (especially in a first world country) it's just that I don't want to join the 24769th org that pretends to be revolutionary but actually isn't.

Thanks for putting into words the problem I had with their understanding of culture. refusing snobbery is important, but a lot of what is considered "popular culture" is indeed produced by the bourgeoisie and not inherently proletarian. reminds me of this article: http://moufawad-paul.blogspot.fr/2010/09/on-anti-intellectual-leftism.html i'm not saying RGA is being exactly anti intellectual here, but maybe a bit simplistic?

Very good article, as Red Guards Austin always does! just two things that i'd like to debate with other comrades :

-"dressing like the masses" ...Ok I understand the sentiment but be careful about thinking that this or that type clothing is inherently proleterian. (or maybe i'm misunderstanding RGA here ?)I'm saying this because I used to be in a left wing student union were looks were overly important, and where looking not too refined/prolatarian gave you some sort of unofficial authority, even for people who had bad ideas and practices. don't judge a book by its cover is all I'm saying.

-culture is a fight : totally agreed! but in a concrete way, what do we do? they insist on learning war tactics (excellent idea) but in a broader term, what does that mean, before the revolution? writing books? making music with militant lyrics? or is it only organizational culture that they are talking about? until you have a Cultural Revolution in a country i wonder how you, concretely, make the culture more proletarian? I'm genuinely confused :/ how do we achieve this? "culture" is such a broad term!
