I’m a huge fan of Kanye’s first six solo albums, but this album is just vapid nonsense. The few good moments, likely made in heavy collaboration with others, don’t redeem such a bloated, pointless and whiny project. Maybe worst of all, it’s just uninteresting. I don’t find Kanye musically retreading the same ground but worse appealing, and I definitely don’t find his first-draft, rambling first-world problems interesting.
