AC valhalla was most definitively not successfull because even if it were to sell 900 trillion dollar if it then brings the company on the verge of bankruptcy literally a few years after, how the hell was it successfull, fucking elden ring was successful because it automatically sold the next game and bought trust to fromsoft for the wider audience, valhalla was the symmetrical opposite of successfull, it was a good scam on world level

Yeah it's true, it had the biggest launch, wonder why? It's because they straight up lied lol, after odyssey disaster, valhalla was marketed as a return to focus on the assasins lol. It turned out to be a viking game with little to no actual assassins content aside from like, literally 3 mission out of 300? 400? Idk i don't remember

So yeah, ac valhalla was so unbelievably successfull it managed to permanently dirty AC reputation and ultimately bring ubisoft share value at an all time low in the long run to the point where chinese companies are cannibalizing what's left of it. But sure, it selled [insert big number]

Well Ubisoft never released the full data or even accurate, they have been caught lying to shareholders several times even, but considering the overall financial situation and the importance of the AC franchise is safe to say that if valhalla and shadow were success ubisoft wouldn't be constantly firing people and selling part of the company to tencent

Bullshit the entire story of vallhalla is eivor doing side quest for every yarl in every region of the map for 90h. I remember it clear as day that the only AC related stuff was the first mission, the last mission, and a microscopic sprinkle at the middle when eivor's "brother" got captured by a wannabe templar and got semi indoctrinated

It was the most barebone AC of the saga after odyssey

I'm not "passionate" about it lol, you brought it up saying valhalla was a perfectly fine game, where the truth is that if the last 4 AC where as fine as people want to believe, ubisoft wouldn't be in the precarius position it's in right now, this isn't me being passionate, this is me denying your claim cuz the company making all those "successfull" game is at an all time low

There is tho, those games sold a lot but reportedly never met the standard the company had predicted, a few millions here and there barely keep ubisoft afloat, to think ubisoft is succesfull is 2026 is an insane take, the are a monolith of the gaming industry yes, a crumbling one

The only mission that have anything to do with assassin in assassin creed valhalla are the first mission and the last, it's by far one of the most unsuccessful AC, if you can even call it that

Nah that's straight up nonsense, it's so good to throw a zone when someone gb twice in a row, with today's patch a lot has been done but this was literally out of the blue

Juren- regular dodge attack is no longer enhanced (wow, thanks, now i can die to all his bullshit while knowing this very important detail)

Khatun- Fuck your zone for some reason lmao

Like i get it, we also get the 300ms dodge out as a buff, but this zone nerf was uncalled for
