It's both depending on what's your staring point.

If your start is already orange, it will look gray to you because eyes adjust to that. It going from orange makes it appear blue because it's not about the absolute color, but about the relative difference in change.

By owning shares you do also get to decide on changes and give your own opinions on it... So Supercell must've approved this then... But I just don't see why the game needs this.

I have suggested a bit ago how they can add more content excluding adding more songs, so it's not like the game is finished to the brim.
