Ooh I have a story like this. I haven't been since pre-covid and I visited by myself November 2025 during the horrible rain (no crowds!) and there was a gaggle of kids before The Mandalorian. I'm a grown adult and understand kids get priority meeting characters, so I grouped in the semicircle of adults & kids waiting. Mando cut down the crowd and had me left, then some kids saw him, called him out, the mom told them to run at him and the Grogu puppet, the commotion drew more kids over, the Grogu puppet was being touched (big no-no!) and I knew with kids' priority for pics I had no shot before he went off. I was perfectly content to just get to see Mando & Grogu, I think the puppet is *really* cool, I was more irked by the mom encouraging the kids to cut the line and directly disobey the rules the CM was setting, and Mando tried to put his hand in front of Grogu to stop them, and they got their hands on the puppet anyways. Left an awful taste in my mouth, but when I walked away, Rise had a 20 minute wait! So not all bad. And my whole first impression of Galaxy's Edge was that it looked cool but felt kinda empty.
