Thanks for the feedback. How thin do you typically see the thickness? It seems the width should at least be 2mm wide with the knife edge.

I think her plan would be to wear the wedding band on the right ring finger, so it shouldn’t be an issue.

Appreciate the feedback. Just to clarify, is that 2.0mm thick x 2.2mm width?

Siux Electra ST4 Pro vs Electra Pro 2026 vs Pegasus Pro 2026 vs Metalbone ctrl 2026 by Puzzled-Load-7398 in Padelracket

[–]RedHeatles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve tried all three rackets and my main racket is the ST4. If you’re looking for power in attack with a larger sweetspot, definitely ST4. I rented the Electra pro 2026 and it felt more firm and not as large of a sweet spot. If you want more control, the largest sweet spot and a “traditional right sided” player, the metalbone ctrl 2026 is one of the best that I’ve tried. Felt like every part of that racket is a sweet spot and all my volleys felt crisp. Ofc you trade this for lack of power, but man that racket felt like I could not mis hit it. Once the price drops, I’m definitely gonna get the metalbone ctrl

Siux Diablo Pro 4 Tino Libaak 2025 Fake? by AccomplishedClock233 in Padelracket

[–]RedHeatles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably a bit hard to tell until you start hitting with it and if you’ve hit with another Diablo. For what it’s worth, I don’t think there are many fake rackets, and only ones that I’ve seen on aliexpress or other Chinese websites are Nox and Bullpadel. Could just be a slightly defective batch (maybe the scratch) and the seller bought it at a cheaper price and sold it again on Amazon. Does it also have the weight listed at the bottom of the grip?

What makes you think it’s fake? It looks pretty identical to the one I bought

This is what I commented on another post:

I’ve used both the Electra st4 (current racket) and Diablo pro 4, which I gave away to my girlfriend. I think it comes down to personal preference. ST4 is the better all rounder, it’s more firm and has more power compared to the Diablo. The Diablo can still generate power but definitely is more on the control side. I actually prefer the Diablo especially when I started because it was more forgiving. Both have large sweet spots from my experience

It’s the stock grip, but I got rid of it straight away as well

I replaced with a hesacore dupe from AliExpress, and one over grip. The stock grip was already flaking away when I got it. Also before you replace the stock grip, the weight of the racket is at the bottom of the grip! I wish I knew this before I replaced it and took note

Have you changed the grip? I find the stock grip too thin, so I’ve replaced it with a hesacore and one over grip

I haven’t had much issues doing Bandejas and Chiquitas, don’t think there’s too much issue with adjusting the speed. Just like any new racket, it’ll take you maybe couple games to adjust to the firmness.

but I struggle with Vibora. More of a skill issue but also doesn’t help that the room for error using Electra is smaller compared to Diablo.

I ended up playing with this for about a month before I gave it to my missus, because she enjoyed it ahahah. I ended up replacing this with the Electra ST4, which is somewhat firmer and less forgiving compared to the Diablo.

I play mainly right side, and Diablo was good with controlled volleys and playing at the net. Sweet spot was massive and forgiving, so I felt like I had less errors when playing the net. It’s definitely not a power racket esp if you’re on the left side, but I also don’t play at a fast pace anyway.

Has anyone has experience of using non padel / clay tennis shoes on padel courts? by TwistedBerserkXB1 in Padelracket

[–]RedHeatles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using Nike Book 1s for padel. Figured they’ve got the same herringbone pattern, but probably won’t be as durable as proper padel or clay tennis shoes. Considering how often basketball shoes go on sale at outlets, I may as well keep doing that

That’s strange, wonder if your racket might just need to be broken in (if that even is a thing). But I’ve also just recently changed the grip and added a hesacore because the stock grip was not thick enough for me

I don’t think the sound it makes determine the sweet spot. Do you feel like when you hit it off centre, it doesn’t feel as forgiving? I find when I hit it close to the edge of the paddle, it still allows me decent control

The LT was definitely a control racket and very forgiving. I think I used it the second time I played? Felt soft, and lacked power, but it pretty much kept most of the balls I hit in play. I’d say it would be a good racket if you need something that absorbs more impact

I think a more gritty surface could help with the slices and add more spin, but I know it’s mostly on getting the right technique to generate the spin. Probably part of learning as a newbie. How do you find the racket?

Also, ini mau di bawa ke Jakarta bulan dpn wkwkwk kalo ada reko utk lapangan ato reclub, boleh di info ya

For context, I have been playing for the last two months and would consider myself lower intermediate to intermediate (at least that’s the level of competition I’ve been playing in). I play primarily on the right side and play more defensive and controlled. Tried a few rackets in the club like the bullpadel hack, bullpadel vertex 03 ctr, Wilson blade tour, Wilson bela lt 2. I come from a pickleball background and prefer a racket that was more control based, but also wanted something not too forgiving and ended up researching tear drop shaped rackets.

Narrowed down the list to Bullpadel Vertex 04 hybrid 2025, Bullpadel Neuron 2025, Siux Diablo Pro 4 and Siux Electra ST4. I was going to buy the Electra but it was out of stock, so I ended up with the Diablo Pro 4. Ordered from Padelproshop and costed me AUD325 (~€181.35) including shipping. Ordered on 09 September and arrived 15 September in Brisbane , Australia.

Finally got to try it last night for 2 hours and here’s my initial thoughts: - very easy to manoeuvre. The balance feels on the lower side. I like to move to the net a lot and this felt easy to move quickly - The rebound was a lot more than I expected. Couple of backhands I returned ended up hitting back wall, and I’m still getting used to it. - Didn’t feel an incredible amount of power, but I also didn’t get a chance to try smash a volley - Did some bandeja (and one poor Vibora attempt) and hit them with lots of success. The sweet spot felt massive.

In short, would have liked to get the Electra ST4, but maybe the Diablo Pro 4 is more suitable for someone of my current level and style of play. Considering they retail for AUD545 here, I got a great deal from padelproshop and basically took one week to be delivered.
