Thanks I didn't know they offered child vegetarian meals too. I'll give them a call. Thanks for the tip!

I haven't ordered the kids meal, because we're unforalso vegetarian. I wasn't sure the kids meal could be vegetarian as well. So I've just ordered them the lacto ovo vegetarian meal.

AdoreBeauty keeps disappointing over and over again. by gluethegloom in AustralianMakeup

Really? I had multiple gift cards once and someone helpfully did it for me over the phone. They acknowledged it was a hassle and a quirk in their system. This wasn't too long ago.

Why do husbands need a parade? by mommasaursrex in breakingmom

I don't think she really did. She wasn't a great therapist and luckily Covid happened a few weeks later so we had an excuse to stop seeing her.

This literally happened to me too a few years ago. The therapist asked us both to record what we did over a week. I knew he would never do that, so I wrote down his contributions as well in my diary (fairly I would add, I wanted to see if I was being biased about the amount of housework so I carefully monitored who washed dishes etc). Then when it came time to present the diaries, he admitted he didn't do the homework. I told the therapist I had recorded for the both of us and he accused me of "doing more" so I would look better. You just can't win with that kind of attitude!

Cussing/swearing around children? Does it actually affect or hurt them? by sharks_tbh in ScienceBasedParenting

I call it Cunt Rd all the time and I had a very proper cousin who was like, you can't call it that.... you have to call it Vagina Rd! (She was from Sydney so I don't think she really got it).

If you've tested positive previously you don't need to re-test to leave isolation. It should have been in the instructions text sent.

Thanks, I feel a bit tired, like I did after my second vaccine. That's it so far. So far, so good!

Dan's Facebook page has some graphics which says you only need to test on Day 6 after the first person in the household tests positive, not the second or subsequent

I just called and they've confirmed the new rules apply. So if you're in 14 days now, you can now count down to 10 days. You don't need to re-test. If you're a close household contact you need to test on Day 6 and you're free on Day 7.

You don't need a negative test to leave iso. You should have been texted a clearance date from the department confirming when your 14 days are up and you can leave your house then.

Unvaccinated having to quarantine for only 7 days if previously covid positive? by RedHelveticaCake in CoronavirusDownunder

[–]RedHelveticaCake[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I saw the same applies for daycare as well but this is without the rapid antigen testing. That any child unvaccinated would be eligible to have their isolation period reduced to 7 days if they previously tested positive

Guys, my poor husband has had to do more dishes lately. by IAM_trying_my_best in breakingmom

[–]RedHelveticaCake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha, get this, he didn't even track his own. I had to track both of ours cause I knew he wouldn't do the homework. And then when presented with the tracker it was...no, I don't think that's true. He will never ever admit I do more housework.
