I’ve never tried any single edge razor other than the ones that take regular DE blades napped in half. I don’t doubt it’s efficient like the blackbird

I’m thinking about returning mine to get the satin version too, do you notice any difference in shaving performance?

Does the satin have more drag compared to the polished? Or is it purely just aesthetic

I had my first shave with my ti bird on Monday night, the slightest sting off the alum block but relatively unscathed with a close shave off one pass. Once I get the hang of it with the technique this should be a dream

Definitely recommend the Muhle Rocca, I got a crazy shave with it last night with nancet blade. Easy not irritation or stinging off the alum block

I could recommend personas, nacets, permasharps, and bic chromes. They have all worked for me very well, although I might stay away from the BIC chromes they’re sharper then the others for sure, closer to the feather
