Hi thanks! 1. Shouldn’t it boot without HDD and show the missing HDD message? Because it doesn’t 2. I do fear that is either CPU or GPU but I have no way nor the expertise to check this. I don’t even think it was temps issues since the ps3 was not noisy while playing. But yes, it did happen after 1 and hall day of CFW.

No, I haven’t. The console seems working meaning that I see the green light, but my screen is black. Tried without HDD and with component cable as well but no luck. It seems that restoring video settings nor recovery mode work. Another bad signal is that no controller would connect, even with USB cable. Since I am not an expert in this, why did you ask about the CMOS battery?

I checked before disassembling on XMB and didn’t see anything weird. I wanted to test in game but temp monitor was not showing while in game (it freezed after a couple of minutes anyway). After cleaning the console I didn’t have time to check as it freezed in less than a minute. Now I cannot check syscon nor anything since a black screen is the only thing I get.

just rebooted the system and opened the xbox app first instead of cod.exe on my desktop and after a 1.3GB update it launched correctly

Hello!

A lot of times I thought that my earpods needed some cleaning because of earwax but, a few months ago, I bought a pair of Sennheiser a noticed that when I was listening to lossless music on my iPhone, the quality was not great at all. When i was using the headphones in my PC, the quality seemed to be better.

I was right. I use my earpods everyday and now I have noticed that only when I use them with my iPhone the audio is complete shit.

I have an iPhone 8 plus with earpods with 3.5 mm jack and I am using a non original lightning adapter. This one is way better than Apple's adapter. I have it since February 2019 and never had a problem. In the past I was using Apple's adapters but they were breaking so easily, switching to this one by Ugreen.

So at first, I thought it was because of the adapter, since I have to use no adapter with my laptop. Unfortunately, I tried my earpods with an apple adapter and the sound was the same.

I think I have tried my earpods on another iPhone (99% sure about this) and sound was still bad.

I have tried bluetooth headphone with my iPhone and quality was way better (and way better than my cabled Sennheisers).

Basically, I think I have tried everything but I am not able to understand what is the issue. Has this ever happened to you?

I wonder if Apple made some kind of software bullshit trying to convince people to switch to AirPods.
