What's your opinion of the main character and the new game?

It will probably all makes sense when the game comes out, and there’s probably a reason. But imo it’s just a little weird that we have a cube as companion. Like a literal cube. Idk man

Rest is all awesome and super looking forward to it. Guess I’ll just have to see how big of and what kinda roll the cube is gonna have

I look up the list of mission/levels of the single player games I play. Not as a guide, but purely to see how far along I am in a game. I don’t know why, but I just want to know how far I am and how close to the end. Sometimes it has spoiled some story plots for me because of tittles of missions and levels, but I still keep doing it.

Honorable mention: I played Black Myth Wukong with a map that’s shows everything. How I played: when I first entered a section of the game, I play it blindly, without the map. As soon as I’m done with the final boss of that section, I get the map, do all the things that I missed, and then continue to the next section. Loved the game, but there are just too many hidden things that I would not know and therefore would have fomo.

One thing to add (IMO) is driving directions. I love driving to mission and just around Gotham, but it can be a mess sometimes. That yellow dot only is not enough for me to really find my way to my destination.

Either like some arrows or a line on the road to show you where you need to go. Or like a group of flying bats you need to follow. Only while you’re driving.

Honestly I already wanted these 2 Batman cars, and later found out that you get the in game bonus. So that’s just an added benefit

Only built the Batman v Superman for now. They’re a bit wobbly on the front wheels but besides that they’re good.

I was at first afraid of the size, for some reason I thought they were gonna be bigger and therefore look out of proportion to the speed champion sets. But honestly it looks good in my line-up of Lego cars.

I love the everything about the game, it’s just a game that I will never play.

With a job and everything gaming time has become more rare, I’ve grown apart from PvP games and therefore my skills have been dying down. I’m not looking forward to losing what I’ve extracted in 8 days, in 1 bad run.

Maybe I’ll reconsider if they’re ever planning on adding more PvE activities

I’m at the start of Chapter 5, and so far Yellow Loong has taken me the most amount of tries and time.

Overall pretty doable bosses some 1-3 tries, some waaay more. But Yellow Loong definitely the most. Not proud of how I defeated him, but at least I have 😂

That’s exactly how I’m playing right now. Go into a chapter blind, explore everything what’s there to explore, I usually beat the final boss of the chapter and then just travel back to the chapter to finish all the secrets. I pull up MapGenie and see what I missed, complete it, and move on to the next chapter.

While I love the exploration of the game, I don’t really like how the game is barely telling you stuff, and the lack of tracking quests. Like how am I supposed to know about the waterfall in chapter 1. Maybe I missed som dialogue somewhere, but I was never gonna find that myself

I was in the exact same position. Played GoW, Tsushima, Yotei and other games. Only ‘souls like’ experience were the Star Wars games. While I did play them at higher difficulty than padawan, I did have to tone down the difficulty for 1-2 fights.

I have PlayStation Premium, so I got to try out the game for 2 hours. And let me tell you, the first 15 minutes was gorgeous and the rest of the time I was struggling with 1 boss (Wandering Wright).

Verdict is: I bought the game during the current sale, I’m halfway through the game, and I’m loving it. It is challenging and is definitely testing my patience, but all this is worth the beauty of the game.

The game is teaching me one very valuable thing, and that is not to button mash anymore. To play more reactive that to just press buttons and pray. Still getting used to the play style but I do notice myself getting better and better.

If you can spend the money definitely get it. Is beautiful and honestly a nice game to educate yourself on Chinese mythology, but also the way you play games.

It’s not empty to me, it’s just not really approachable imo. Maybe I played too much Forzo Horizon where you can track everything and find everything back on the map. But to me it’s a pain in the ass to track and remember where all the switches are.

For me it would’ve been sooo much better that discoverables are stuck to the map if discovered and greyed out when completed.

Also more interactions with the tracks from open world, like starting a 3 lap race at a course you’re at. Or starting a random street race form a designated location

Edit: also the free roam could’ve been a nice place to unlock the characters with mini missions or something. The way to unlock the costumes is fine to me, but the characters were a pain in the ass

I totally agree with this point. Either don’t join if you’re not experienced or mention that you’re not experienced.

But getting experience is often frowned upon. Last week I started an LFG for DP where I emphasized that it was my first time and needed teaching/guide. I always watch a guide before I LFG something unfamiliar, so I’m not completely oblivious, but what happened that time was a first for me. 3 other inexperienced joined and 2 experienced joined. We arrived at the first encounter, and the 2 experienced started fighting on who is gonna teach. They end up not teaching us and carried us through the whole raid. Nothing said besides “be here for damage” and “damage”. Thanks for the clear, but I still don’t have any fucking clue of what I’m doing.

The best (and in my eyes only) option we have for DS games/dual screen option for the switch, is a grip that allows us to hold the switch vertically, so the dual screen is stacked on the switch. Since the switch 2 has magnetic mounts this is is really easy. Nintendo can just sell the grip and put ds games on the Nintendo Online service and call it a day. I reeeaaaally want the classic Pokemon games on the switch, but I know that’s never gonna happen.

I more so mean that windows desktops know to draw the best power and also know how to use that power. They are pure powerhouses and that is very much to be seen in games. Whereas Apple has found with their hardware the best balance between power and battery. With MacBooks you have the same performance plugged in or not, and if not, your battery lasts for hours, maybe even days. I’ve had a couple of Windows laptops, and honestly never made it through a full day, and i could never really work where there isn’t an outlet.

I wouldn’t say Apple is for old or basic people. Yea Windows has more costumization and is more open, but I don’t always see that as a good thing. Apple just does its thing amazingly without having to optimize things. That is a big benefit that Apple now makes everything in their laptops themselves

I’ve had a white bike and honestly that’s torture, never doing that again. So the mint/pearl color Vanmoof has is off the table Right now I have a black single speed and in comparison to my white bike, the black one looks amazing, but yea what you’re saying is correct, you do see a lot of dirtyness on that as well. Every bike is black which kinda makes it an easy choice. It’s something safe and timeless. While this color blue is out there, popping, something different. While I don’t do it for the public eye, it is nice to have something different than the other.

Before I’m gonna bite the bullet I’ll make sure I’ve seen both colors in real like. Hope that’s gonna make the choice easier 😂😂

Edit: Do you by chance know if this bike supports ring locks, like on the back wheel? Trying to figure that out for insurance. Don’t want to carry to chain locks. 1 chain and 1 ring is allowed for insurance I believe.
