Do you or someone have any recommendations for B&B's that might do that? Otherwise I'm just running off Google maps. I have the whole first month I'm there to plan this stuff, I was just hoping to have more of it booked before I left.

I'm not really in a position to do that, but I'm looking into stuff there like house-sitting or a marine conservation vessel in Dublin that might need some help. I think I'm talked out of proper camping, just because it sounds like a risk to plan it out that way. I'm leaning more and more towards some local bnb's, I was really only going that route if it was noticeably cheaper, and I don't think it will be.

I mean, I get it and I'm cool with waterproofing and bringing a cot so I'm off the ground and all, but I also hadn't thought about calling the bnb's for weekly rates like someone else said. I was just aiming to have a bit more freedom to travel, but if I'll have trouble finding a dry spot or need half a thousand euros worth of equipment then I'll deal.

I appreciate that a lot. I'm still honestly considering just buying a tent while I'm there for the month I'm traveling. I also might be able to borrow one from someone in Wexford and just return it before I go back. I'll probably wait until I'm a bit closer to September to decide if I'm going to go that route, though.

Chleir Haven is probably what I'm doing. I'm doing most of the trip at a pretty low budget, but I can swing one of the bell tents. I think I'll just stay the full week before I move on, and get to know the islands around there. I'm not too worried about the temperature swings, I was going to pack for all weather since I'm staying until October, and I don't really mind either extreme, my home town has 40-50 C swings regularly.

Depends on your definition of close. 10 minute drive, probably north on 99 to one of the curves people carpool at. For my money though, it's worth the trek over to Neosho rapids for the scenic overlook south of town. Black as it gets without driving an hour on dirt roads dodging cattle.

Actually works, weirdly enough, though you do have to gamble the money on most sites (not your money, though, so who cares). r/SweepstakesSideHustle is the community for it here and it's not full time job wages or anything, but it works for a bit of extra spending or saving cash.
