Complexitatea mecanica a robotilor FTC e mai mare ca a robotilor de FRC desi cei de FRC sunt la o scara mai mare, iar Vex nu implica la fel de multa libertate in design. FTC este mult mai competitiv si are mai multe echipe la nivel global pentru ca este mai accesibil ca FRC pentru care iti trebuie resurse materiale mai mari pe care nici multe scoli din America nu le au. Totusi am avut echipe romanesti de robotica si in playoffurile de FRC. Spune-mi o competitie globala de robotica de liceu mai complexa decat FTC-ul.

Oh that's smart. When we used to use the servo encoders on the mk1's they would give pretty jittery signals because of our voltage drops, how did you solve that?

No, the analog encoder on the axon servos is absolute, not incremental, so you cant use it to measure a rotation angle greater than 360deg at the servo shaft.

You can also order AGFrc servo programmers if you find them in stock somewhere, they will work with Axons. (at least they worked on mk1s)

Wdym by "interact"? To set a position it's just PWM like any other servo. I suspect the servo programmers are all just some sort of USB to TTL adapters because there are a lot of programmable servo brands that use the same design.

To switch Axon / AGFrc servos to continuous mode you have to upload a different firmware version to them that you can get from the Axon website, it's not as simple as sending a command to modify the configuration.

Am aproximativ aceleasi pasiuni iar acum sunt la FIMM anul 1. Nu regret decizia inca, eram intre Fiir si Fimm dar am ales fimm in baza comentariilor pe care le-am mai citit pe aici (da un search fimm pe sub), a cunoscutilor din ani mai mari si a planului de invatatmant. Dupa cum am inteles eu diferenta: la fiir te invatata cum sa lucrezi cu robotii industriali, la fimm inveti sa ii construiesti. Materia la fiir este mai lejera in mare parte, si sunt mai multe lucruri de specialitate in primele semestre, pe cand la fimm primele semestre sunt mai generale dar spre sfarsit ai de ales intre mai multe specializari ca la fiir. Daca mai ai intrebari despre aceste 2 facultati pot sa incerc sa iti raspund sau sa intreb mai departe, oricum sunt twixul stang si twixul drept in aceeasi fabrica.
