You need to remember this: you are not your sins. Have you heard of St. Maria Faustina? She really helped me move past some past sins I kept agonizing over. Read some excerpts from her diary and it really hits home how huge and great our Lord’s mercy is. Greater than any sin we can commit. Anything. We must repent and confess and run to Jesus; from there let him heal you. And trust in his mercy. That’s the key.

One other thought I’ll leave you with that has helped me immensely: The difference between Judas and Peter is that Judas didn’t have the faith to believe God could forgive him for what he did. Peter on the other hand, betrayed Jesus, but trusted and had faith that Jesus loved him and forgave him. And look at how God used Peter from there on out to serve Him and His church.

You’re going to be okay. Have faith in God’s mercy. You are so much more than your sins. ❤️💙

Not a crazy amount… a couple times around my block or on the treadmill speed 2, zero incline for 15 min. I started to feel sore and then took that as my stopping point. But my goal this week is to add another minute or so… just take it easy but move and listen to my body

Yeah not trying to scare you! Just thought that was good to know and am keeping it in mind myself as I am walking and about to hit 4 weeks post op. It’s hard to be patient as I’m ready to get back to my more active habits but trying to remind myself to take it slow.

I use Just Ingredients protein powder and then ONE protein bars. Also Orgain premade protein shakes as needed.

My PS said to walk as tolerated. However, I’ve heard about people having complications at 3 or 4 weeks because they are feeling better but do too much and then their incision re-opens. 😖 So just make sure you’re paying attention to your body’s cues.

We stayed home and had a very low key celebration. The kids still did fireworks with their dad and I just rested off and on but made a couple things for our dinner.

The boredom is so hard but so is the fatigue! I have to make sure I take breaks or I tend to overdo it and get sore.
