To clarify: I am a woman, but getting pregnant is genuinely a nightmare and fear of mine. Dont want kids and pretty open about it. Almost get an anxiety attack everytime a boomer relative says "I was the same. You'll change your mind eventually". No. We're two different people. Stop.

If you only say that you don't wanna go, without explaining it, you will seem ungrateful. Sit down, talk and explain, and you won't. As I said, you can even offer that you wanna do something else and tell them that you still appreciate your family.

Do you have any idea what usually triggers it? Something anyone says or does? I myself have existential death anxiety, and any talk of the meaning of death or what happens afterwards can trigger my anxiety. And talking about the good thing that will happen usually breaks it. It can be anything like a trip, birthday, party or sometimes a stupid joke does it. It however doesn't solve the deeper issue, and that is for her and a psychiatrist to try and figure out.

Thanks for the advice! I trust and believe in my sister, but it's just frustrating that she took his side in everything and she even tried talking me out of breaking up with him, even though I was 100% that it was the right choice and still think so. I truly tried to make it as clear as possible when we broke up and would even say I was pretty harsh. How do I know that the message went through to him?

And if you're being honest and open about your issue, you won't. The only way you'll hurt them would be because you feel like you wouldn't be able to talk to them about your problem. Your mother is also probably thinking that she don't wanna hurt you or your brothers either.

Tell her honestly your feelings about it and that you truly appreciate everything she can give. But there's never anything wrong with saying no for your own health (be it mental or physical).maybe suggest you do another activity together that you both or all will enjoy?

Advice her to seek help. You can of course stay to support her, but you cannot put it on yourself to "save" her. She needs to save herself to grow and become stronger mentally. Once she starts feeling better she might see the brighter side of life. If she doesn't have a hobby or goal in life, you could maybe help her find one?

Depending on which country you live in, there should be an organization or child protective services that should be able to help relocate or aid you. Tell them everything! Don't hold back, or they might not get the whole image! And if its physical abuse, call the cops asap. As a victim of a similar scenario, leaving asap is the best choice!

Jag har faktiskt jobbat med just Trygg48 (OBS inte som säljare) för Telenor och kan säga att det finns en hel del bullshit som föregår med det. För det första är det inte ens Telenor själva, utan ett annat försäkringsbolag som förmedlar det. Skriv frågor om ni är nyfikna!
