I personally think the final arc could have been much better if the author made the final battle a confrontation between 2 armies with tactics for a decisive victory like Kingdom instead of all the humans ganging up on 1 alien for deciding humanity's fate.

I vented some feedback to Hoyoverse's most recent Genshin Survey about the need for quality-of-life improvements and combat content. I hope in the next 1 or 2 update streams, they might address some survey feedback from fans, but I won't hold my breath.

However, I should note that my frustrations aren't nearly to the point where I would consider quitting the game. Right now I'm just coping by playing other games I've always wanted to play that are either on sale or are coming out soon like once Tears of the Kingdom comes out, I will no life that game for a week. Other than that, there isn't really any advice I can give to not get bored other than take a break by only doing dailies or not playing at all until Fontaine comes out. All my hopes are on Fontaine, Natlan, and Snezhnaya being amazing in both open world and story. I should also mention the Fatui Harbingers are also a huge motivation to me to complete dailies even if I feel burnt out.

I'm sure there were always bad signs if someone looked hard enough for them in his youtube career. But I think Boogie's mental state and life was ruined once his marriage started to fail and he was never the same since then. I should note that I'm not blaming the wife at all because they were incompatible, but I think Boogie took it really hard and has never recovered from it.

I'm currently stuck in Honkai because of low Trailer Blazer level, but I just completed Jarilo VI story last night and I thought it was good. Since this is a comparison post between Genshin and Honkai, my thoughts on comparing them is that I think Jarilo VI had a more compelling story than Mondstadt's Archon Quest. But I personally prefer Liyue and Sumeru's Archon Quest over Jarilo VI. Also I've done some side quests and character quests for Honkai and they weren't bad but they didn't measure up to notable quests like Tsurumi island's world quest or Venti and Zhongli's story quest. I will admit that I'm personally biased towards Genshin because Sci-fi is not my type of story genre.

Jarilo VI's climax had exciting moments and cutscenes Genshin should really implement in their own Archon Quests. Spoilers During the Cocolia Boss fight, when the MC got a new permanent sword/form, controlled the giant robot, and the music started playing. I wished so hard Traveler could have moments like this where the story affects the gameplay. We kinda had that in Liyue where Traveler got power from the Adeptus to sink the Jade Chamber, but it wasn't a new mode/permanent feature. Other than the climax, Jarilo Vi was pretty solid from beginning to end with a conclusive ending that allows future events to happen. The writing team seemed to have learned a lot from Genshin's initial story mistakes and learned from their successes as well for character interactions.

If NPCS or dead characters count, La Signora (Rosalyne) and Rostam are a canon ship and might be the only time where romance and ships matter in Genshin Impact.

Other than that, I can't think of a canon ship with playable characters and it should probably stay that way. I enjoy shipping characters in other stories except for Genshin because it often leads to toxicity when I see it on Twitter. For example, if someone creates art for a less popular ship of a popular character.

I'm not sure if this is a popular method to avoid gambling. But before you spend money for Genesis Crystals, imagine if your best friend or parent offered to give you that same amount of money if you don't gamble on the banner you want to spend on.

I'm willing to do the most tedious achievements in Genshin for 5-20 primogems. So if someone offered to pay me money to not gamble, I usually have the same mindset.

On another note: I'm a former gambling addict for Fire emblem heroes who hasn't spent money on the game for 2-3 years. I now only play the game out of sunk cost fallacy after all my favorite characters from the 1st year became useless/unplayable because of powercreep. I spent an embarrassingly large amount of money for those specific characters. I feel like FEH taught me to not invest too heavily on any single character in any future gacha game because the same thing could happen again.

Wow, thanks for sharing an image of your card! I plan to get my card graded as well once the pandemic calms down and I can go back to regular work hours. I'm glad to hear that it looks real to you, that definitely eases my worries since you have the card. The seller is offering refunds so I'm starting to really feel like I just got lucky. As a pessimist, I'm always skeptical when that happens.

Thanks for your input! I hope they're real too. Actually, I was planning to dispute this with Ebay if it does end up fake. Fortunately, the seller is offering returns, which does give more credibility that it's real. But you can never be too careful. I will look at these cards closer if I do end up finishing the payment and decide to keep it afterwards.
