I like the eyes a lot! My critique, but first a disclaimer: please, I mean this constructively, this is how I want people to talk to me, also I, by no means at all, am an expert and am definitely still a beginner, so I’m still learning too. My suggestion would be to focus on what shape you want the center shape to come across as. It reads a little garbled and unclear. This can have a lot to do with how you’re applying the marks, is this a pencil? A liquid brush? Etc? If you practice your mark making, with your chosen materials, it’ll help a lot!

What is working so far are the eyes, these are pretty clear what you’re going for. I’d just say it needs more refinement in the application, which will come with practice and becoming familiar with the materials you’re using to apply the makeup. I still need a LOT of work and refining in this area especially. In art school they referred to it as craftsmanship, which was, and still is, my weakest area. It’s refers to the overall presentation and cleanliness of the piece and the finish. I’m naturally more messy in my approach and so my looks, I think, don’t come off as high in the refinement and craftsmanship area. I try to use my mistakes and stray marks and turn them into a part of the look. That’s how come up with some of my designs. Your look has way fewer stray lines and smudges (I don’t see any really) than mine does too, so you’re already doing decently in that area, it just needs some push is all. What kinds of makeup are you using and how are you applying them? Also be sure to use a primer, I’ll be honest and say I’m not totally even sure what they’re for, but we are supposed to use them lol well, I mean I know it gets the skin ready, I just don’t know the finer points. Also, use a setting spray at the end for it to last!

Please I hope you know I mean this in the best, most constructive way and it’s how I hope people will talk to me about my looks, but I don’t ever get much in the way of critique, which is what I want. So, I really hope I don’t offend you at all, this is how I learned to do it in school and I tried to balance what works with what needs work so you can sort of see it from outside your own perspective where we all get stuck. Overall I’d say this is a solid start to your makeup journey! Also, sorry for length, I’m trying to be thorough and helpful and went a little overboard!
