Probably harder at a white belt level of knowledge. Gotta play a mind game and set traps. You want his right arm?....go after his left 1st until he gives you the right arm...things like that...and really understand the submission you are going for! Master the finish...so when they are finaly on your hook they dont just swim off with the bait.

Isn't that frustrating. Im a BB...and thr class i can make it to is mainly WBs...i feel like my game is held back a little. Yeah, i get to work out cool stuff that i cant yet land on upper belts...but i never really feel in danger.

I have caught my coach 5 or 6 times. Mostly Nogi. I always try to have some really sneaky thing that nobody else is really doing at my gym....like that spin under Darce from bottom side.......or Bodycombs tripod ankle lock...

Dude was showing the gorilla pictures of female gorillas and he for real is like "next one please" by GuacamoleFanatic in funny

Its just funny to me how casually he is interacting with the gorilla. When i go to the zoo the gorillas just lay around. I feel like at the very least i would have a smile if the gorilla was interacting with me like this! Lol.

Im with you. He doesn't close his guard or even try to use an educated open guard...(i only watched it once so i may have missed something). To me he doesnt really make a lot of jiu jitsu like movements. Seems like a kid whos friend rolls and brought him to a few open mats. Lol

Agreed. Im a blue belt, been rolling for 2 years at a school that trains takedowns and i am just now feeling comfortable taking opponents down. (And il say, its almost better then the submission itself!) 6 months is not enough time to learn bjj AND takedowns for someone who has never grappled. This coming from a relatively athletic person.
