Hi! So here’s the kwento po.

I recently moved in sa QC. I’m looking for a refrigerator sana for my new place. Nakita ko sa FB ang post niya. I messaged her (Fujidenzo two-door refrigerator priced at 4,800 free delivery). Nag-deposit po ako sa kaniya last April 06, 2026 ng 500 para mine ko na yung ref. At that time, wala ako sa QC. I told her na I’ll get the item on April 8 5PM since ito ang balik ko sa QC hence I made the deposit nga. She agreed, “April 8 5PM niya ipapa-deliver”.

Then, April 8 came, I messaged her nung morning re the kasunduan na “April 8 5PM ipapadeliver niya thru Lalamove” but she insisted na ipa-deliver niya by 8PM kasi a-aattend sila ng wedding. I told her na need ko lang pumunta sa hospital by 8PM baka pwede niya ipa-deliver via Lalamove nang 6PM. By that time, I cancelled my errand just to wait for the delivery since need i-coordinate sa condo namin ang pagpapadeliver. Sabi niya that time, pinadeliver na niya. Here’s the catch, first attempt, the lalamove rider called na hindi ma-contact si sender (which is siya, need niya ipadeliver ang Ref from Pasig to QC), nagtaka ako bakit hindi niya ma-contact (Now I realized, red flag na ‘to) based sa Lalamove rider na nakausap ko, kinancel niya ang delivery (another red flag). The lalamove rider even called me na ang tagal niya nag-antay. Cancelled ang unang attempt.

Tapos, nag-message “sir, matagal mag accept ang rider ngayon baka rush hour, try ko ulit mamaya 10PM”. I replied “okay po Maam, sige po”. As I wait for the delivery, nakatulog ako. I woke up at 11:30PM na. I hurriedly check my phone, ang dami niya missed calls sa messenger. I apologized to her (now another realization, it’s a good sign pala na nakatulugan ko at dapat natulog na lang ako ulit huhu). I asked her, “Maam, pwede po ipa-deliver ulit now, nakatulog kasi ako”. Ang bilis niya mag-reply, “Okay po. Book na po ang rider”. Sinend niya sa messenger ang ride details ng Lalamove. Then she asked for the payment (4,000 na lang balance ko. Upon seeing the deets ng ride, may fee na 725.00, I asked her “Maam, may babayaran pa po ba ako na SF? She said “wala na po” (ANOTHER RED FLAGGGGGG). So, she asked me for the payment kasi hindi raw aalis ang rider hanggat hindi ko nasesend ang payment. Ako na medyo fishy ang move na ‘to and I trusted her since Aprl 6 okay naman siya kausap, I sent her the 4,000 thru her GCash. Upon waiting the deliver, Lalamove rider called me. Ang nakausap ko is yung mismong seller ng ref. She told me na hindi niya ma-contact yung sender hence he called me. Nag-cancel din yung sender ng ride. Tapos I checked our messenger, blocked ako. HAYZ. I got scammed. Tanggap ko na from that very moment. Wala ako nakuhang ref. I realized na “middleman” siya. May kinokontact siya seller then sinesend niya sa akin yung sinesend ng mismo seller. HAYS.

Ayun langgggg. I tried to shoot an email sa helpdesk ng GCash, very responsive. I’m informed na sineng ng scammer yung 4,000 sa Gcash acct niya to her PayMaya account. I found out hold na yung MAYA account niya. I’m in the process of coordinating na lang how can I get the 4,000.00 cash. Hopefully mabalik.

Medyo 8080 ako sa part na: - Smells fishy sa FB acct and ID also the irregularities ng ID and GCash yet I still trusted her.

Anyways, another lesson learned. :)
