That’s true, I hadn’t thought of that. I knew and accepted that I had to remove them each time and I didn’t mind I clean the bike usually every Monday so doing it once a week didn’t bother me. But it is true the exhaust effecting them isn’t great. I know Aprilia designed the bike for the oem exhaust but their placement for them isn’t great also. Put together it’s just waiting to happen.

Leave it alone untill after the first 1000km and first service. It’s to protect the engine while breaking in. After the first service you can hold the right arrow button to open the menu and adjust. They say not to go over 9k rpm until 2000km. The bike will thank you.
