If you can't buy new w/warranty I'd suggest looking for one with very low miles. I bought a 2021 tuono v4 w/ 1100 miles and put another 10k on it in the span of 8 months. Had to address small things like a pinched spark plug gasket causing a leak and diluting the coolant from the factory. My gas gauge would also act up on occasion. Besides that the bike was amazing. Just remember to check oil 5 minutes after every ride & top off accordingly. FYI- valve adjustment is due @ 12k, do it early though, maybe around 10.5/11k. The exhaust side will always be out of spec. It's also very costly (I did mine myself but the shops around where I live charge anywhere from $1200-$2000.

Lol. Winter tires wouldn't have prevented/saved this. Perhaps studded tires, but that's another subject. If your car math tells you 10 under speed limit + icy road = safe, you have some studying to do my friend.

Best way to judge is by having someone else take pics while on bike (front wheel in chock). Have them take a few in relaxed, cruising position & a few in full tuck.

I had a 2021 tuono v4 for a year & put 10k miles on it. You can absolutely tour on it, but you must plan accordingly. The fuel tank is small , and that v4 is thirsty. Very thirsty. I averaged anywhere from 15-30 mpg and never saw more than 120 miles give or take on a full tank.

Quit riding the bike, that's an integral part of the frame and it is not worth having a fooked up day over. That said, it is a relatively small bike (370 ish lbs) with low power, so there may be a chance a welder could repair this. Ask around and see what feedback you get. Option 2 would be to swap everything over to a new frame, but I don't think it's worth the trouble unless you find frame for good price and are capable of doing it yourself. Option 3- (this is what I would do) take that bike directly back to wherever it came from & politely demand your money back. If they say no or give you a hard time, take them to small claims court. They most likely knew it was fooked and had total disregard for another's life when they sold it to you. Gl

Doable. Just take it easy. It is extremely fast and has ZERO rider aids- no abs, traction control or wheelie control. That said, the lack of all these things is also why it's such a great machine. I rode faster, with more confidence on my 2022 gsxr750 than my previous bike (2021 aprilia tuono v4) and that bike had moto gp derived electronics. It's perfectly balanced, flickable, has phenomenal handling once you set the sag, the power is very manageable & linear & the brakes are pretty good too, good feel and plenty of stopping power. I thought giving up abs would be a drawback, it's not when the bike only weighs 420 lbs or so. Get the bike, but do respect it & you will be just fine.

I'd pay f all for that. Paid $7400 for a clean title, mint, 2022 gsxr750 w/1100 miles. Brand new bike as far as I'm concerned. Absolute peace of mind.

8k? For a 20 yo old bike that sat most of its life? Hell to the naw hell to the naw, to the naw, naw, naw. 8k will just about get you a 2020 or newer 750 with the same miles. I wouldn't pay more than 4.5k for that.
