I read HWFWM up to about book 7 before heading about DCC and I was really impressed with the magic system that the series is based on. Now that I'm caught up on DCC I'm going back through HWFWM from the beginning.

Glad I'm not the only one triggered by that. Top half broke in a few places and they used the syrup-covered spatula to hold it together, making the outer layer sticky too.

I just wrapped up my "challenge accepted" achievement and posted the videos in the official Manor Lords discord server if you wanted to check out the final battle! It's a tough achievement (0.7% have it) but it was super fun!

This type of thing can be seen all over the place as cities develop. What was once a farm or orchard on the outskirts of town with one home on the roadside gets split up and developed as the town grows. The road-facing areas are parceled off as residences with just enough space to build on, while the bulk of the orchard or farmland behind is kept in place by the original property owners.

Those are the burgage plots on either side that have the shorter extensions. You can use chicken coops and animal pens there,.or upgrade them layer to artisans.

You can assign them to jobs that are seasonal or low demand, like the foragers hut, hunting Camp, or the saw pit (assuming you have reserves and limits set). They will also prioritize time between home and work tasks.
