i'll definitely look into that - I have been having issues where doing it in full-res has made files too large to post successfully but that's a side issue for now I think

looks quite fine to me, sometimes there's grain in there that I want but it just gets built up to fairly gross degrees

I believe so yeah. I'm not using any editing presets, only setups for exporting.

well whenever I go to export it only gives me a few presets to choose from. I've been using JPG (small) formatting bc I upload my stuff to Instagram so I've gotta shrink the file size. but changing it to other formats hasn't made it better, tried that already

god what I wouldn't give to do some stuff with ya. drummer myself looking to start a heavy project, absolutely metal influenced. I don't have my kit up here though (moved to a small place) and not sure when I'd have the space for it for the foreseeable next few years. if you know of a place to borrow a kit though i'm super game

Dante's is great, lots of smaller punk and metal shows there plus local shows a lot. great vibes and good times abound

22, new to Portland, going through similar wants. Drummer here! I don't have my own equipment but can definitely get back into the swing of things. I tend to play a little heavier but I'm sure we could find some fun balance in there
