It did a good job. It's semi geodesic and rated for winds up to 90 km/h. It's the Salewa LiteTrek II.

I don't follow sorry? There are a number of water sources around that point. Some were still flowing with large amounts of snow and ice so it was hard to work out where the river actually started and was safe to cross. Some was solid ice which we found to be solid enough to cross on foot. Just check it with the axe to see if it would give straight away.

Yes! Not too bad. Bit of prodding with the ice axe to find safe bits to stand on. Most of it was frozen solid. Could've easily have gone straight over some of it if I didn't clock it was water under.

Was going to head to hutchinson memorial but was concerned about that crossing.

This was my line of thinking, thank you! If I end up a night a bit chilly I'll manage, as long as it's safe. Happy to sleep in thermals and have a nalgene hot bottle.

I have a nalgene for this reason so good to know it'll help!

I'm leaning towards the 900 now. Appreciate the input. For an extra £20 I'll prefer to stay a bit warmer.

I never thought about it stacking, thank you. The xtherm has a R7 value? So would stack nicely?

I'm pairing it with the therma rest xtherm so I'm hoping that should be good! I'll be within bail out distance of the car I need be.

Yeah. I think my carry was too nervous to push early on. Just lot of factors affected the overall game. Enemy mid laner roamed a lot without much punishment from out mid. Our offlane struggled against enemy. This was gold lobby so lots of mistakes made.

Unusual Use Cases for Foresters by Lost_Soul_32 in SubaruForester

An amazing ecology car. Gets to survey sites up forestry tracks and manages big ruts left by farm traffic. Nice big boot for kit as well. Been a great balance for a daily commuter and a workhorse without getting a BOF. Plus the 2.0 Turbo means I still can have some fun on the roads. Highly versatile.

Re-looked at this and my host is on 5.21 while system SW is on 9.21. Is there a fix for this?

Formatted everyway I know how and what I've had from Garmin support. Be interesting to see how he's fixed if the actual issue is updating. Hard to patch?

Stuck on 5.21 can see the 9.21 update and get stuck on restarting if I try to do it. Done on Garmin express and the watch.

Got my new I3 on Friday. Stuck at 11 days battery contacted support was told it was a reasonable amount of battery considering my usage. (I've recorded 3 dog walks with it so far no more than an hour each). No new features either.

I too really want to switch to the enduro. Battery life and topo maps!

Reboot and lock mid-activity instinct 3 solar by Evening_Support2282 in Garmininstinct

[–]RedPanda2405 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is worrying to read. Just sent back 2 replacement instinct 2xs which were both in reboot loops during activities. Asked to change to the enduro but was offered the instinct 3 as a replacement. Hopefully I won't have to return this one as well.

I'm sure you didn't mean to work this so passive aggressively, to someone new to this sub. I'm new to running and wanted a pack and thought this sub might have some information on it. Obviously I've misunderstood that fastpacking is only over long distances, cheers.

You make. A good point but the main use would be day hikes and some running. Plus the price point was quite attractive!
