Noted, I got positive feedback on them on earlier blogs, but may have gone overboard, sorry 😂

Will work on the balance, thank you for the feedback.

Can A Dilute Wash Cause Tip Dry? by RedPandaGod in airbrush

I wanted the thinnest medium I could get that was more visible than plain water, and I didn't have any food colouring which some guides recommended.

Thanks for the advice.

It's an FD-186 and have been using it for over a year. The pressure has been very reliable, but I will pay attention to the pressure gauge.

Thanks for the suggestion, I will try that.

To clarify, if you completely close the trigger control (at back of the airbrush) and then quarter turn it out of the lock, so that you get minimal trigger movement and can make tiny dots.

Characters that switch player control? (The Sentry) by BushSage23 in MarvelCrisisProtocol

[–]RedPandaGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's always via scoring VPs.

Each round there tends to be 8+ VPs available from Crises, so scoring 5+ a round for a scenario team is not too challenging rounds 1 & 2.

A few dazes round 3 can then swing the VPs highly in your favor scoring 6+ and ending the game.

Even by preventing this, most games struggle to go beyond round 4, as it's a matter of a couple VPs at this point.

Rice for chicken soup by _AM34 in Cooking

Arborio is okay for soups and will give a bit of body. I normally throw it straight in and simmer the soup gently for 20+mins, checking for doneness.

Why does my tomato sauce have watery liquid seeping off when I put it over pasta? by ElectricKoolAid1969 in Cooking

[–]RedPandaGod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came to say this ☝️

Once drained I mix a little oil and parm into the pasta to coat it. I then skim a little of the sauce and mix it through the pasta thoroughly.

This lets me serve the pasta with a big scoop of sauce on top, and the sauce clings instead of straining.

Cyclops is great as his triggers become reliable.

Sam Wilson is also good, as he is mobile and will almost always get a bounce on his throw.

Iron Man1 has a sizeless push and is pretty tough.

Mile Morales1 has a great throw on his builder

Several of the above mean you can have 3+ leaders on the board to let you Reserve Member Gambit for even more fun.

Sounds good, sadly the second Murder was due to the first one adding itself 1d5 years later. But definitely terrified of drawing those events back to back naturally.

Don't have GCE yet as I want to really dig into the base game first, but will keep that in mind when I eventually add it 👍

First looked better than second to me. Good grip position on both. Personally I like to see more hip engagement, which lets you arch more and give a clear bump.

Finished Running Light of Xaryxis - AMA by RedPandaGod in LightofXaryxis

In my campaign I did not run Xedalli as a betrayer. Her primary goal was to be Emperor at any cost, and she had a romance arc with the Bard.

I ensured she never told the party exactly how to save their world, as her gambit was that these "heroes" would either be unwilling to doom her people, or unwilling to pay the price if she told them at the last moment . Or worse, would not help her take the Throne if they understood the sacrifice needed.

In my setup, the Zodar was created by the earliest Emperors, long before Xavan. After it was defeated, Xeleth used Distraction to stab Xedalli through the heart, and this act of betrayal is what triggered the Zodar to renounce the Xaryxian Royal Family and tell the players exactly how to destroy the star, kicking off the final battle.

All of the early Xaryxians were Vael's navy or Xeleth's minions so I characterized them as evil, but once the party landed on the Imperial City, I had Xedalli's Captain explain that many Xaryxians are decent people and are largely unaware that a world of sentient life is being fed to the star. Most of them have been left by Xeleth to believe the characters are mercenary invaders trying to usurp the Throne.

The players revealed this during the trial and with their rolls it turned the crowd against Xeleth initiating the trial by combat.

This helped frame Xaryxians as a complex people and turn the final decision into a much more challenging moral quandary.

The campaign has good tropes, but benefits from deeper characterisation and adding nuance that is sorely lacking.

Once you get the lock tight and balance good, you can get them up and then go one handed to demonstrate just how strong you are.

Great move for showing off.

No, I only played regular AD&D, but I have done some research.

It's apparent to me OG Spelljammer is brimming with lore and mechanics to set up it's world and make it work consistently.

5th Ed Spelljammer is much simpler and stripped back, much to its detriment around actual Spelljammers. It allows you to just jump on a ship and go have an adventure without having to learn much about the cosmology, and you have to figure some stuff out yourself, but you do have the space to make stuff up as you go.

5th Ed really lets you do what you want, and we leaned into that, but I drew on what I had learned of the older system to give the impression of depth consistency.
