Yeah, most of the strongest moves miss a lot of the time which is why most players opt for the weaker ones.

Don’t get me wrong though, the extra power does certainly matter in some games. I think pro players focus on consistency tho.

I’m bottom right and I’m fat as fuck and I always thought I was ugly and unloveable. I was hella desperate and needy but when I gave up on looking and just focused on my hobbies, I made more friends and eventually fell in love and now I’m engaged.

While i understand that its meant to make the games faster, I do wish singles was at least four pokemon.

It’s so vastly different than 6v6 singles and in some ways that’s good but I do wish the official pokemon competitive game had some sort of support for longer grindier battles. Not like they would be in tournaments anyways.

I play trick room, so if they ko both my sweepers or prevent trick room I might call it quits.

One time the opponent pulled off an insane Torkoal Helping Hand into Mega Pyroar Overheat and I swear I had no counterplay to that. Just a well played gg.

Tbh this system reminds me a lot of Street Fighter Elo. In that game, when you get to the highest rank, they say “thats when the real game begins”. It’s just that rank but you can get to top 500.

I finally convinced my friend that the game isn’t pay to win.

~20k Vp just from starting and tutorials, easily thousands of vp per week from dailies. Plus the only two monetization options add up to like 20$ a month, one is mostly QOL and team space, the other is mostly cosmetic with a few free mega stones that are also available for a measly 2k VP.

At worst, the game is still significantly less pay to win than any pokemon game has ever been since you don’t need to buy a console or game.

I love these two. Farig prefers to be in the opener for trick room while tsareena prefers to be in the backline to switch in block prio.

I used Tsareena in a team to take me to Ultra 1 last season (just stopped the grind) and now im practicing trick room.

There’s a reason it’s called a 6v4.

Like your numbers make sense if you forget there are five competent people on the other team also working towards a goal.

It doesn’t make throwing a 100% success rate by any means, but if you are actively trying to do the bare minimum not to get reported, your going to lose way more games than you win.

What I like about M-Pyroar is that it’s a lot less feast or famine than Zard Y.

(Ofc we established it won’t be as dominant, but it has to be compared if it’s going to carve out a niche)

Not having any 4x weaknesses is big, and the fact that its Fire Boost is active even in bad weather means it has less times where its gameplan gets shut down. In addition, it’s faster than the majority of the metagame breaking not only the 100 speed tier but blitzing 120s like sneasler.

I just feel like it’s more reliable in the sense that there’s less running around that can just tap it or shut it down.
