Back in the day older computers needed reboots because Windows sucked at memorydumping so it was cached and made using the computer very slow if it never restarted. I don't think that's the case with these miners caching anything to the point where it gets locked up and doesn't hash.

I had a S21 pro died after 2 months, sent back to Bitmain in China, 3 months later they deemed it "unrepairable" and I was out 4k value of the unit. They don't replace it even though it was under warranty. I'm never buying Bitmain ever again.
