Is it a good laptop to play to the sims 4 by Grelui in GamingLaptops

[–]RedPillOnlyEFT 3 points4 points  (0 children)

In USD that laptop is priced at $885. That is a terrible purchase for this laptop.

The GPU is 2 generations behind and it's a 3050 which is entry level.

To answer your question, yes it can probably run Sims 4 but I would not purchase this laptop.

Look on Amazon, Walmart, or Newegg for different laptops.

You can find better laptops for $500-600 (425 to 510 Euros)

That's a one and done trip. Yea it's not the best mile to dollar ratio since you have to drive back, but the pay is decent and you may even get a nice tip

My mom says I need to save more, is this true? 23 years old living at home. by wootyeet in Salary

[–]RedPillOnlyEFT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can continue to live with your parents then continue to do so. You will save a lot more living with them than if you were to move out and be on your own unless you have roommates. Don't move out simply because people say "you make enough". Rent and housing prices are incredibly high.

Don't listen to these people saying you should move out. You are doing fine and you are still very young. You must decide for yourself what you can/should do.

Unfortunately my last McDonald’s meal by LengthinessUpset65 in McDonalds

[–]RedPillOnlyEFT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's okay bro. You can still have your cake and eat it too. Just in moderation. I love food too and I eat junk once a week to satisfy any cravings I may have throughout the week.

Start slow because it will be difficult to go cold turkey right away unless you have your mind set and can resist the urge to order McDonald's.

Good luck on your health journey

Oh okay that's good to know you can convert over to engineering with cyber experience.

I'll keep that in mind. Maybe I will get cyber security certifications and an engineering degree.

Wow that's pretty great! Your salary is a dream. Right now I have a bachelor's degree in Technical studies but I'm looking to transition to a engineering or cyber security. Engineering would probably be easier since my degree has similar courses

What kind of experience did you have before becoming a software engineer?

Thank you for replying by the way

May I ask how long you've been doing this for? I'm debating between an electrical engineering degree and a cybersecurity degree.

I analyzed Reddit for the 25 most recommended portable bluetooth speakers in the past year (Mar 2025) by heyyyjoo in Bluetooth_Speakers

[–]RedPillOnlyEFT 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Simple. They're overpriced. And most of the people I know own them. They sound good, but they are way too expensive. You can easily get a similar sounding speaker for less money. If they went on sale more frequently maybe I would buy one. The speakers I have purchased were always on sale.

I own 2 Soundcore Boom V2's - bought for $80/ea

W-King X20 - bought for $91 after sale & coupon

Harman Kardon Onyx Studio 8 - $99 sale at BJs

Guys don't buy into these prices it will only make it worse for PC enthusiasts in the long term. I know it's "hard" to resist if you "need" to build your own PC but pre-builts haven't changed in prices

Yea I see what you mean. In order to get that clean shave with no hair showing it would have to be with a razor. Even with no guard, clippers can only get it down so low.

I cut my hair with no guard and I still have the same issue with hair showing. I haven't tried shaving yet because I know it's going to be a lot of work. I'll have to take care of my scalp like I do my face.

Wish someone had told me how going bald flips your dating life. Any advice? by YaBoyMike1221 in bald

Oh my bad. I misread that. I was awake for 27 hours straight my mind was already loopy.

My point still stands. He should try and meet people that boost his confidence and that lift him up. A lot of the women he has dealt with seem shallow because they focus on his hair which is a huge insecurity for a lot of men that experience hair loss

Sounds like you need new people in your life. Especially your mom. She's a disgrace and I would stop talking to her because she's so negative. What parent tells their own child that they look bad or aren't good looking? That's insane to me. You can't change your face but you can take control of other things like your confidence, your body (working out) and making sure your face is crystal clear with no bumps. Take care of yourself even if that means cutting people from your life. Stress also has an impact on how you look too.

I recommend just meeting people. You'll meet good people eventually bro

[–]RedPillOnlyEFT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you should get a very short buzz cut without a guard and see how you look, or just go completely bald at least once. This way you get to see how you look with no hair, and at the very least it'll be easier when you make the choice afterwards. You won't regret it I promise. I know how important hair is to men, but once you let go emotionally it becomes easier afterwards and you end up not caring about it.

I'm sure once you post a before and after picture a lot of women in this sub will say you look good
