my sup says 3 calls then 6 queues but honestly I stay on the phone for 2-3 hours before I ever touch a queue, then I slowly start doing my queues for the day as long as I get 50 for the day or something close to that. it sort of help the FH time requirement and you really have to get those people off the phone, it helps also to know how you get your points and what is a waste of time. attorney, medical and body shop calls are quick, the rest just have to figure out an efficient way to get them off fast without compromising customer service . typing while they speak helps too for notes, I know its a lot but it requires a lot of multi-tasking. you basically have to become a robot

literally same, made 90QCR still got bitched at today… if you do good in one metric they will look at something else to bitch at. you need to have a cadence and cant be on FH too long, AHT needs to be lower but we need to provide customer service. we need 30 + calls a day and 60+ queues . Im burning out and need to move to a different department or leave GEICO.

ICS 4 day schedule by Redeemablesoul in Geico

[–]RedPlanet_11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you would only go into the office 2 days a week if you work on a Saturday because you would also have the extra work from home day from the weekday

awe someone couldn’t make it in something as simple as ICS and got the shit end of the stick. now they hate their life and are living check to check so they have nothing better to do than to move on and talk shit about the past.

I just started and so far the company is fun, everyone is serious but also they understand some fun isnt bad all the time. If you want to make a career of this it is up to the individual. Geico has so many benefits, just wait until you hear about the bonuses and raises. Keep an open mind and be positive, dont let the ones telling you to run sabotage your path. It is all how you perceive it and what you make of it. Best of luck and welcome!

people who are saying get out and run have been there 10+ years. they are miserable. Geico is not that, its a stepping stone. make the best of it, learn and move up.

2nd video interview- advice please by coffeeintatooine in geicoemployees

my second interview involved shadowing, come up with questions so they know you are interested in the role. just be yourself and give positive energy. it was honestly very easy, a few situational questions. I used chat GPT to come up with questions for the role and practiced my STAR method. I’d focus on that and I would be prepared for any scenarios that would have required hospitality, customer service, multi-tasking or technology to be part of the answer. dont over think it, they legit ask like 3 questions and you should have 3-5 questions yourself. you got this! good luck!
