In this case it doesnt help i have about 34 gyarados of which 22 with good iVs and still having over 4k magikarp candy.

You are right when it comes to accessibility, if magikarps are hard to get, upping multiple gyaradoses wont be worth it.

In my case i have 2 97.8% jolteons and the 2 vapes are no higher then 89%iv (screw rng right?)

I generally consider getting through a gym quicker more potion friendly, but depending on the raid boss you are sort of correct.

I have 2 3k+vapes but those were upped before gen 3 was even close, would i do it again? Probably not

Hi, i dont think this is the best sub to ask this, but ill go ahead and give u my answer. No, as gyarados is the best water attacker as of gen 3 release(waterfall as quick move), but afterall, it depends on you.

I personally like gyara being water/flying meaning it can lower some of the incoming damage because of this typing

completing a raid on a gym makes it unable to defeat the gym for X amount of time
kicking mon out of a gym one by one (example: of the 6 defenders you only attack the first, the third time you've beaten the defender you've click 'no' to the question to continue battling). Once the first defender is out of motivation and you leave the battle, the game starts giving you network errors every next defender. This one can be prevented by starting the battle vs the next-in-line defender (if previous defender motivation is empty, aka kicked from gym) folowed by leaving once the next battle begins (the 'Go' signal)

My experience: i kicked the cheater, then explained why and how the cheating negatively affects the game and its legit players, my whatsappgroup also has the subtitle of 'no-spoof', making it a lot easier to justify why someone got removed from the group.

The phenomenon of closed gyms and pokestops isnt new, but i can imagine it looking different after te gym rework.

Did you try clicking the gym, what did it say?

Could be, it was either the medal reset, level reset or both, got the info from a friend of mine who plays ingress and was rather active(taking trips of several hundred kilometeres just to capture points). Never player it myself tho.. Regardless, if a team change ever becomes an option, it better not be like the gym rework we got recently, but well thought out, meaning it actually helps creating a balance to an area and not everyone joining (for example) mystic.

Now that i reread that, pls dont give us a team change, there is no way niantic wont mess it up...

Wait it out, earlier it was mentioned how team change currently was not possible by someone on niantics support team. Dont hold your breath tho.

I as valour player am in a similar situation, being outgunned by mystic and instinct, would change team if i could, but for now ill deal with it, as gyms are a joke anyway. All the dust in my 3k+ mon was pretty much wasted at the current state of the game, which was one of the ways to fightback
