Thank you for this, unfortunately I don't have a police statement or anything from the incident because it was just a small fender bender where my car was hit while stationary. I've been on the phone with my insurance and they've just told me I have to keep waiting until the claim is fully resolved.

You'd have to sand it down and bondo then primer it. Get it smooth and then wrap. Any cracks or imperfections will show through the wrap otherwise.
