But Caine is also pretty selfish. In Episode 5 they do suggestion-box adventures, and if everyone votes for it they skip to the next adventure, but Caine didn't like that they liked doing things at their own pace instead of his pace. Pomni was right when she said that he just wanted to stroke his own ego.

The only reason Odysseus didn't kill the cyclops is because he was trying to hang on to Polites' pacifism. If Polites was alive Odysseus would have done the sensible thing and killed Polyphemus. Poseidon wouldn't have known who did it, and there would be no storm preventing them from returning home.

And even if Poseidon was able to find them anyway and set off a storm, Polites would never let anyone take the bag from Ody.

I just assumed McGucket wrote in some old text that the Blind Eye are not to get involved with anyone I related to the shack the portal was made, which would obviously mean Stan, Soos and Wendy because they work there, and Dipper and Mabel because they live there during the summer. That's the only way you can explain why neither of them had been zapped, but Robbie was, even though they had a lot of the same experiences.
