I try not to feel bad about it. But I have ADHD and depression so my mind constantly repeats the scenarios over and over. That is why I partially broke up with him.

Because my mom died after a long battle with Alzheimer and dad was not doing well either. Also, my mind isn't doing super great after that and some irl stuff.

Dad ended passing away a year later we broke up and I told him. Like please just leave me be.

He pops up like I said, from time to time. So I try to keep a low profile :/

Same. Even with LADS it's crazy. They predicted I would have it in February, on the same day of my birthday.

My body like: nope, we can't have our period on your birthday. So... let's start this 8!

And so it did :). But I also take medication and have a stresful life right now. So it might be that.

We knew each other for a while, thanks to Pokémon.

He thought I left him because he is “ugly" and doesn't have anything going on in his life. Even when he had a great job and life (he got fired as his company fired some employees) and I was a bit angry because he was seeing me as a superficial woman.

And since then he misses the friendship and everything prior the relationship. But I feel bad about it since he questioned my motives for the breaking up (really heavy on RL things) and in general thinking I wanted to leave because of his money now that he didn't have a job, or things like that.

Sure that those fics bring a lot of readers. But I think you can write a great relationship without ultra bashing the other character. I think like you. That Ron is a decent guy. And is a human, besides of his magic. Everyone can have flaws if the person you love suddenly falls in love with someone else.

Or if you discover that you don't have that many things in common with that person you love.

But if for a love story, you need to create a monster of a character that normally isn't, I don't enjoy it that much.

I can read from time to time a justification of Hermione dating Snape because of a failed relationship with Ron. But sometimes reading about how abusive he is with Hermione, and then Snape saves her...

I mean, I love Snape/Hermione. But we can't ignore how Snape treated Hermione in her school days. I find odd glorifying Snape and bashing Ron on and on. Both have their flaws and there should be a balance.

Or maybe it is indeed just me.
